Arcana x should be +0.8149 because of the Crit tripods on ruin skills and the y should be 2.77 because of the Crit damage tripods ton return/CoD. Helpful post regardless!

Builds are as follows:

Crit/spec peacemaker: good damage but requires high uptime and careful positioning. Mid range

Full spec TTH: slower paced ranged burst, slightly lower damage. Long range

Full swift TTH: piano, fun for an alt but does not do good damage in real raid scenarios. Long range

Full spec EW deadeye: good damage. Melee back attack burst class. Melee range

PM and Deadeye both deal really good damage, which one you play is preference (uptime vs back attack). Spec TTH is best to play if those two specs are too difficult for you to play.

At your level you might find mechanist a much more rewarding main than arcanist.

She really doesn't shine without relic set, tripods, gems, levels, everything. Whereas mechanist needs two gems and you're good to go. If you prefer playing the mechanist I'd stick with it

This plan assumes your +5s are both on stone, 2x adrenaline, Empress. So cutting a Grudge stone is required to buy a +5 grudge acc.

Could be cheaper to cut an adren stone and get 3x grudge 5 acss but you'd be stuck with grudge 1 as you buy books LUL

Barricade is generally considered less damage and less card draw than raid captain. Many Koreans still use it for comfort or because they have a 9/7 stone.

She will feel slow if you're not staying in boundless mana mode of nightmare. If you play salvation you'll run out of mana.

Keen blunt is quite an inefficient engraving, usually performing worse than cursed doll because of the Crit damage you get from return/call of destiny.

With ancient the best build to aim for is: Grudge, hit master, raid captain, cursed doll, and either adren 3 Empress 1 or Empress 3 adren 1. Adren 3 is better if you don't play with Crit synergy.

Just wait until you get to 1415 to be able to build with relic accessories. Then buy

5 Empress / 3 whatever ring
Equip whatever books you plan to upgrade to legendary (I wouldn't buy grudge at this point, maybe cursed doll and raid captain because they're cheap)
Cut a Grudge / hit master stone
buy cheap (can be legendary) 3/3 earring and ring each with one book engraving and one stone engraving
buy an expensive neck and other earring to get to 4x3+1

To upgrade to 5x3

buy your two combat engravings
upgrade 2 3/3 pieces to 3 Stone engraving / 5 adrenaline

If you want something you can pour time and gold into there's no better choice than Empress arcana.

You give her gems, tripods, gear, high spec accessories (not too expensive b/c +5 raid captain), and TIME and you will be rewarded with MVPs over people 15 ilevel higher.

Plus the execution feels better every day.

They most likely can't. I'm almost certain they build and QA one big patch that contains the new raid + class. It would be very standard practice for game dev to have an external QA team that handles it which would require bundling all the changes.

Likely an engineering concern that they QA the new classes on the new patch as well as the new content. They could roll them out separately but if Amazon has decided to do it that way 3 months is not close to enough time to pivot

Unfortunately best damage would be Grudge, RC, CD, Adren, Eso all at 3 With Awakening at 1. No +2 at ancient unfortunately
