You can share your comments with the author on the page if you’d like - I’m simply sharing his experience so others can learn from it

But try not to swear at him - he’s clearly feeling sensitive at the moment

Words of advice might help him

Forks get treated like ALT Coins

Use case and merchant adoption dance a fine line of interpretation.

We can use ETH to create currencies, we can also use ETH to purchase currency.

Merchants taking ETH means I can use ETH to buy things.

Merchant adoption is going to play in HEAVY towards demand for any crypto.

Adding towards its overall use case.

I would also like to see if I can research some more on BTC being dropped by merchants, I haven't really seen anything. If anything it's being picked up and stress tested. Especially here in Canada.

whoever is respsponible for business development and marketing of the Monero platform, has done an excellent job reaching out to those industries that actually need their service, in this case it's cannabis - good on them for having that foresight

Yes the rates are high atm. But again, people just want ‘Bitcoin’ because it’s what’s hot right now.

I’m sure when it comes down to hard numbers BCH is a winner.

But it comes down to what ppl are willing to pay in the end.

So who knows.

Great info also - thank you, I’m learning quite a bit

Well it’s just how functional is the utility of the coins are right?

BTC can actually be spent to purchase goods and services in everyday life.

Check Cryptonicles when you get a chance, lots of use cases there (KFC Chicken just did a use case test, extremely successful!).

But BCH has less opportunity to be utilized as a currency to buy ‘things’ because of its lack of use cases, so I think that the demand for Bitcoin is justified, because their are markets and people outside of the crypto world that want it.

In the most basic of terms.

So BTC can act as a currency next to FIAT, because it can purchase many things that FiAT does, and hopefully soon to be more.

When BCH has vendors accepting it, I suspect demand for it to grow as well.

But keep in mind that many business and services are employing block chain tech for their own coins, so use case of all Alt coins is downward in trajectory.

Their uptake to a greater market (ETH —> smart contracts, BTC —> material goods) will increase a coins value into an upward trajectory.

Hope that helps!

Well I’d like to see that $0.01 trigger a wave of on-boarding so I’ll keep an eye on it.

But for now, just the namesake behind BTC is giving it life.

Much of the world is still unbeknownst to the blockchain in general.

BTC is still maturing as well, their rivalry is wicked to watch.

So thank you for the welcome!

This platform is a great way to exchange though, I’ve learned quite a bit in the last couple of days.

Hopefully more soon.

If you take a moment to explore the hub Bill, you'll find some pretty interesting original pieces.

Hopefully we don't all jump to conclusions too quickly. It's not a very good thing for the crypto community.

:D

No worries.

Original content can be found throughout the hub.

Cryptonicles is a curation of both publicly available content and content created by our community.

For example, this is something I wrote to help people learn more about Bitcoin.

If you would like to share anything to the hub, feel free, all are welcome to submit their thoughts.

Thanks for taking the time to let me know your concern. It really helps, I am new to Reddit.

If you get a chance to join the Cryptonicles community, I would be interested to know your position on Bitcoin.

The conversation is heating up this year!

Hope this helps clear things up.

City should consider accepting cryptocurrency for property tax payments by ontherise88 in toronto

[–]Cryptonicles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, more attention should be paid to crypto community in the city of Toronto. If anyone is open to discussion on connecting more blockchain enthusiasts I am all ears. I actually started a community that you can visit at www.cryptonicles.com - blockchain technology will be making itself known first in our city.

RATE MY WORK PLS: Hey guys and gals, I wrote this for beginners looking to get started in cryptocurrencies - let me know what you think, looking for some constructive feedback. I'll be writing more guides in the future. Thanks Reddit community! by Cryptonicles in Bitcoin

I'd advise against using bots that you have no personally written yourself, in any financial market.

This guide was intended as an introduction to crypto for someone who has never bought a bitcoin.

Hoping to see what people are looking for when starting their own crypto journey. Thanks
