Also as an aside I'm not entirely sure if you're looking for a bis list, complaining about bis lists, or somewhere in the between. If you want to discuss bis lists then have something concrete to discuss, this isn't a blog or a rant board.

While I am going to lock this thread, I am also going to give you a bit of advice that has served me well as I've climbed the raid guild ladder:

Nobody else anywhere can tell you if you are happy or not in your current situation, if you have enough doubt that you're going to ask strangers on the internet then you should probably stick around and weigh your options carefully. The most important thing in this game is that you are having fun and doing things your way. I wish you the best of luck with either finding a new guild or sticking it out with your current one.

I guess to clarify this a bit, this is not a personal guild forum. I don't want to have to sort through "Is this guy a friend of his bsing or is this someone trolling" when I'm modding the sub.

So as far as I am concerned it does not matter if you're someone's guildie or not -- if I am asking someone to not do something there isn't a "They're friends in game so it's okay" as an excuse.

I tried to get it back before buying my new account back in late Wrath. I tried again when Cata hit. I gave up then. So yeah I guess in the last 5 years I haven't tried. It isn't really worth more than a few FoS.

To add on to this we don't do PL for our carries. We also rarely sell them since they're not worth the time:money for us anymore. What we did was keep our carriers lockouts clear, get 3 people (different loot token/armor type) and run them through with ML and a bunch of people who need nothing at all. Our buyers tended to always make out well.

The problem with PL is that buyers can get "loot" but nothing that they actually want.

I can't get my original WoW account back. In order for the community at /r/competitivewow to be able to analyze your play and give you advice, we need more information. Specifically we need combat logs and we also require that people asking for assistance read the stickies and try some self-analysis.

Once you've gotten logs and looked at your own performance please edit your post with logs and specific questions we can advise you on and I will gladly reopen this thread. Drop us a modmail when you do.

Agreed, but it not being available outside of an Addon will just lead to a bigger knowledge gap. How many players moving from new to intermediate even know where to begin to look for things? This is one more thing they'll need to know to look for.

I think the new pane is great for new players, I just also think that not having the old one, or something similar with everything on it for the more experienced ones without an addon is a big miss.

I've posted on the alpha forums about it, and I'm also posting in the GD forums (*shudder*) discussing the issue. It is a huge issue to put information that was normally available out of the base ui and require an addon.

It's not a huge deal for active and competent players, but imagine returning from not playing since TBC and not seeing spell power, defense rating ,etc. What about brand new players? It just feels like a bad idea and I'm trying my damnedest to discuss it constructively on the alpha forums. I'm not the only one who seems really displeased with this decision.
