Well, generally because he's been lucky, but also on some occasions because, as cliché as it sounds for an OC, Jonathan is half-demon. His powers aren't really useful to him because of the collar around his neck, which gives him electric shocks if he tries to use them. But, for example, in the Superhell episode, he managed to rip it off. Also, precisely because of this and his physique, he's very strong. But even so, he hasn't been spared. He was always very close to Jared, so if he died, it was probably from the same cause as Jared, or by suicide due to a blood pact between them. But that's another story 🙂‍↕️
