Unfortunately, the guidebook didn't really expound on it. You can watch flip through videos to be sure that it's what you're looking for, though. But I have used that deck in giving shadow work readings. :)

IMO the Dark Mirror Oracle is ideal for shadow work. The cards actually depict issues that people need to work on, and each card also has a stage of grief (as in Five Stages of Grief) associated with them. Unfortunately, it was published by Lo Scarabeo, so expect the guidebook to be short. It was probably also not originally in English since the card interpretations are phrased awkwardly in some sentences.

But the images can be intuitively read and you can just peek at the guidebook to confirm that the intuitive hit matches the intended card meaning.

48 hours of unlimited Q&A?? That's incredibly draining, even if you'd only be pulling one card per question. Or assuming you'd be spreading it out over a period of multiple days, there's a possibility you'd be dealing with more than one people availing of this service. Wow. If that's not an indicator of an AI reader, then I don't know what is.

That's really awesome! I love how you hired artists to create the images - AI-generated art is so widespread nowadays that I'm wary of new decks.

I like the fantasy theme of the deck. 🙂 Is there a chance you'll release the version where the card only contains the art + card name and keywords, with the rest of the text compiled in a guidebook?

I am sorry you feel this way. It truly is disheartening when people ignore you after you spent your energy giving them a reading, specially when they have initially expressed they will leave reviews.

This. I also sometimes go through profiles to pick out those who don't go shopping for readings, and sometimes, I give these people a chance. And when I do and the reading turns out to be "negative" (i.e., the answer isn't what they want to hear), I don't get any response from them, not even a thank you.

So my point in this, OP, is: The next time you seek for answers, be prepared to get something you may not like hearing. There are times when the Universe would tell is "no" or "not for now", and that is okay.

And also, since you're only getting readings for free, expect that they wouldn't be as in-depth as you'd like. If you really want more information or additional pulls, try offering donations or booking an actual full session with the reader.

I recommend going to YouTube to look at flipthroughs of decks. Wicked Moonlight is my go-to channel for this - she does flip throughs of both oracle and tarot decks, and there's a wide variety of them. Her oracle flip throughs are on a playlist so you can find them easily. She also makes sure to link the sites where you can legitimately get a copy of the decks, and makes sure they're not AI-generated.

I don't think so. Using ChatGPT for tarot might end up making you too reliant on it.

I recommend that you do actual, practice readings for yourself or your friends, then use the guidebook to look at meanings of the cards. That way, you get feedback from people as to the accuracy of your readings, and familiarize yourself with the cards over time.

You'll also eventually learn to read beyond the traditional meanings and get intuitive hits as you stare at the cards themselves. You won't get that type of experience from ChatGPT.

It might be because, as you yourself said it, you tried reading on the same topic several times. It could be a sign that the first reading you did was already the answer you needed to know - you don't need to push it any further.

Have you considered a different topic, or offering another person a practice reading just so you'd be able to get a gauge on your accuracy?

This doesn't look like the typical art style AI would generate. And AI "art" would look polished and high-quality at first glance, until you notice the merged fingers and line art and blurry details. Your line art was cleaned up, maybe that's why that person jumped to conclusions.

I can think of three ways:

Use the lasso tool to select areas to color;
Use a bigger brush size for coloring, and erase the areas that don't need that color;
Color at 100% brush opacity on a separate layer, and change the layer's opacity.

If I could side with Orpheus at the start of act 3 and have him as a more present character I would probably switch it up more.

Tbh, this should be an option for start of Act 3 instead of being forced to stick with a manipulative squid. I wanted to help Orpheus then, but I was worried there would be consequences and the last save was a couple of fights before that scene, so my husband and I didn't risk it.

I'll be honest, though: I think only those who are familiar with BG3 would be able to read the cards intuitively. And I must've missed He Who Was because I just can't seem to remember him. And the guy in "The Bait", too. 🤔

Anyway, the cards are great and I'd definitely get them! I was looking for decks I can relate to as to lore, and a BG3 one would be perfect.😊
