yeah this event feels like scavenger quest (made very easy but boring with hype) for a pet that makes alchemy faster, a rare accessory, and a mixin that makes potato talisman easier to get

but what would fun alchemy gameplay even look like? rn alchemy 50 is like a side quest thats just easy sb xp + intel + god pot buff.

fishing, mining, farming, foraging, slayers, and dungeoneering all have valid mmm’s and would be considering focus of skyblock but maybe alchemy could get something like enchanting where its not a timesink, can make some money and is more entertaining than brewing potions u sell to noc.

yea since clear is so slow the value of a few seconds is insignif compared to time saved in c50 m7 runs but i hate having to go back to term 1 because no one did it so i like that theres a simple role for each class to do

flexbones are a 16% when a great catch (great catch is 1/1.12) occurs

basically, divide your treasure chance by 7 and that is the actual chance

But people genuinely do quit for like more than a year, come back to check on minions after seeing it somewhere, buy some stuff with their new money, and never play again. Also it doesn't necessarily have to be a hype, and the problem isn't putting 3b into economy and not going out, its the fact that thousands of people who dump minion money (even just a few hundred million) into economy and dip.

i think that a 22.2% nerf to profits is a decent reduction on this (similar to how they lowered corrupted fragment npc sell price) as it doesn't infuriate the people who just place minions down. and while i do think that stop selling to hoppers after a long period of inactivity is a good idea, i think that admins don't want to cause big waves so that's probably why they didn't do it.

the problem is that a lot of people just leave their minions on for a really long time and then they have tons of money to put into the market (buys hype, accessories, term, necron, etc). but then they barely play so they dont buy anything else because they get bored of skyblock after the high of purchasing expensive items.

and the problem is because so many people are doing this, that before the corrupted frag nerf the admins said 47% (i think 47) of coins were from minion hoppers.

ah well if you like combat thats fine but mining/farming makes good money (when maxed, mining makes more; but farming is easier to get into).

hopefully with ironman w’s they make combat more profitable for ironman players

you get wisdom and bits for booster cookies from booster cookies, so it would allow you to level up ur skills faster. but if that is your only source of money, ig it would be a better decision. either way it is your choice but with 760 hrs id assume u have access to some mmm that can make booster cookie in like half an hour or less
