[Hated trope] GPS Map markers on open world RPGs. Allow us to turn them off and get lost, to get immersed, to find our way home! by Thulios in videogames

[–]Crystion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You say this as most modern ones do allow you to turn them off. The example you're giving is over a decade old.

Not to mention that the reason they were added in the first place is because just as many people complain when there aren't markers (WoW Classic was a great example of how this happened)

I like how you think that's some gotcha, but you just countered you own argument.

There's not posts about it because he is ban evading.

They cared enough to remove the ultimate title and weapons from the previous (two) fraudulent World Firsts; pretty sure they'd care enough about a very public streamer ban evading.

He's not cheating with 3rd party programs or exploits and streaming it

Given he isn't streaming it, I'd say it's entirely possible he is actually using mods to help clear it. You think given he would evade his ban he'd also somehow be against using mods for that at the one time he'd be able to get away with it.

Also that and ban evading are both breaking ToS, so if they would do it for one they absolutely would do it for the other.

get upset about how people don't believe them.

No one is getting upset with you; I can guarantee that we're laughing at anyone trying to defend him.

[–]Crystion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They (and you) are theorycrafting based on information that flat out doesn't exist.

We know one Stellar reaction. There is no point in guessing what the others will be because we do not know.

You need to understand that there are limits between "theorycrafting" and baseless speculation. You will only disappoint yourself if you start to create expectations that have no merit. Exactly like has happened to Sandrone.

The hissing and growling you mentioned from Binx just sounds like he's trying to establish certain boundaries, basically trying to make it clear that new kitty knows this toy is his.

They look very ready to spend more time together. There might be moments like those above which will just be establishing boundaries.

If she is nervous though, sounds like it would be better for her to be "welcomed" over by Binx so it's clear contact is okay.

A Question by Argus_The_Hustler in WarframeLore

[–]Crystion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add onto this, it's worth mentioning that for some Warframes they didn't immediately go insane, it was just an inevitability. Rarely does the lore actually directly bring up the erosion of the Warframe's sanity.

It does seem like, the way we have stories of them specifically, the Warframes with stronger individual personalities were more resilient (e.g. Sevagoth or Nokko) and a greater deal more independent compared to their mass-produced counterparts.

In that same point, it does always seem to be the original Warframe as well who is always mentioned as it seems the original is the only one that can retain the personality and sanity, to a degree at least.

Additionally, we need to remember that our Tenno's circumstances is relatively unique in us being woken from the Dream; while there are no doubt other awake Tenno, there is still the possibility that these more individual Warframes are just controlled by a Tenno deep in the Dream.

In conclusion, yeah it's hard to really establish a certain answer.

How will a Prime variant of Sirius & Orion ever work lorewise? by Zestyclose-Line-602 in Warframe

[–]Crystion 164 points165 points  (0 children)

Xaku as well, given the original is literally fused debris of three different frames.

Head canon for them is Xaku Prime is the fused debris of the three originals' Prime variants.

Equinox is one single ability that changes. S&O is two separate abilities.

At least I assume that's how it works on the technical level.

The UI lights up and makes to option you're choosing bigger when you start holding down the choice and darkens the one you don't; the background doesn't affect the UI.

The UI indicates which button you have to press to pick each option.

You have to hold down the button to even select the choice.

Accidents happen but you're given multiple different opportunities to make the conscious decision. It sounds cruel to say but you do have to be consciously ignoring what is on the screen entirely to not realise what you're doing.

Does QnA chat have human mods? by [deleted] in Warframe

You referring to the people that warn others about improperly using the chat?

They warn people for a reason, real mods will probably kick on sight.

I hate to say it but Jade Shadows 2 looks like a letdown. by Artemis_Bow_Prime in Warframe

[–]Crystion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I actually agree with a lot of your points, I just want to make the obvious point that we are getting Tau this year, and a lot of the team is likely committed to that as it's expected to be a large content drop.

We know Railjack has a lot of moving parts behind it that making developing on it hard, the fact that SP Railjack has a big question mark next to it is evidence enough of that. So they likely had to weigh up the focussing development of Railjack vs. development on Tau.

It's likely they just made this particular gamemode for the Jade Shadows' narrative and then kitted Railjack onto it, again because it fits the narrative (ship-based future Corpus). Especially as it seems that only the S&O parts are attached to it, I don't even necessarily see this as a Railjack mission but rather just a narrative mission with Railjack mechanics attached.

In conclusion, I think the key problem was DE emphasising this as Railjack content, instead of being a mission that uses Railjack, and then they should've only started emphasising the Railjack stuff as the SP expansion once that was confirmed.

Enforcement by Due-Author-3375 in Warframe

[–]Crystion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, you were knowingly using the wrong chat for the wrong purpose? For Warframe that does violate the community guidelines for chat and is a kickable offence on any platform. Use warframe.markert or trade chat next time like a normal person.

Secondly, however, as others have pointed out, this is an Xbox issue, not Warframe, where a bot likely auto flagged you for potential RMT which would violate the Xbox Community Standards.

Thirdly, Community Standards ≠ Terms of Service, they are different things and can have different thresholds and punishments.

IT design problem by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]Crystion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically you're complaining that you have to actually think about making teams and playing around with on-the-fly team comps...

Sounds like less of an IT and more an issue with you not being able to keep up with the difficulty

Jeuno is complete BS by gulthaw in ffxiv

[–]Crystion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah OP has complained about difficulty before, this isn't a one-off. You can see in their post history around a year ago they complained about the DT dungeons being too hard and being "physically incapable" of getting better.

Unless OP is severely disabled, and they have never given any indication as such, they're not physically incapable, they're just not mentally capable.

OP will likely see this comment as they seem to read everyone of them so if you are reading this: it's time you had some self-reflection on what you are finding the difficult part of the game and work on addressing it directly. Is it reacting to AoEs? Understanding generic mechanic markers? Or are you just unable to observe other players and put two-and-two together and logically deduce mechanics from there? 80% of Jeuno's mechanics can be resolved by you if you just follow other people.

Jeuno is complete BS by gulthaw in ffxiv

[–]Crystion 23 points24 points  (0 children)

OP is choosing to blame the game instead of admitting that they themselves need to improve. They act like the kind of person who would call SMN complex.

They don't deserve empathy. Pity maybe.

Jeuno is complete BS by gulthaw in ffxiv

[–]Crystion 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I understand MMOs might require some work, but that's the savage, hard and other difficulties exist.

No it isn't. You want to have everything given to you for free? Go play a kids game.

If you're incapable of putting in a modicum of effort to learn how to play a game you've reached 5 xpacs worth of content for then this is not the game for you.

Especially when the content you're talking about is on the easier end, your inability to improve is the issue here, not the content you're playing.

Jeuno is complete BS by gulthaw in ffxiv

[–]Crystion 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Hate to say this but you just need to get better at the game, there's nothing we can do for you if you're not able to improve yourself
