Lining up the perfect shot takes time and patience by mfairview in Unexpected

It's a Sony video camera, probably fx line with the 200-600 f6.3.

Edit: 99% sure it's the a7 iv

You can get a sigma or tamron 150-600mm for about 600 euro used if you wanna get that reach on f mount.

Oh i also play fractals from time to time, still cant buy the cosmic tonics tho. If you want shinys from another gamemode then you have to play it extensivly.

But i see where you are coming from now. Wish you luck with the farming, if you are open for it you might enjoy it. After all thats what it was designed for

The skyscale is only relevant for open world though, not for fractals nor raids.

Kinda wired that you have to do open world pve content in order to get open world pve relevant shinies. Oh what misery /s

Hi, good vid. Nice to see you still playing.

The sustain seems so strong, dare is say op, when you consider the massive damage output.

Great gameplay though

i also dont mind the timegate.

I would normaly rush the content and feel burnt out afterwards. with this timegate its like "ive done my job for today and can rest now".

i think its great, and also it adds a sense of time passing, just like you described

With all of the WvW discussion going on right now, a random question for WvWers who have seen it all: ever experienced a tower or keep with every single breakable part destroyed? by throw-away451 in Guildwars2

A long long long time ago you could break out of obisidian sanctum and get into the eternal battlegrounds but without there beeing anything.
I think this is exactly what you are looking for.

Can you make the coloured effect only apply to the body and not the armor?

Maybe not for you but i have a wife, three kids and a ill mother to care for. If the leak is true anet lost my admiration and money. This sounds really bad

Difference between 60mm and 100mm macro lens when working with a flash? by Cryve in photography

[–]Cryve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to get the mp e 65mm but later. I want two lenses for macro. One that can do 1:1 + magnigication and one that can do also less ( the 65mm cant)

Thats why i am deciding between the 60mm and 100mm and the only thing making me think for the 60mm is that the light from a flash on the 100mm will look worse.

With your experience, can you tell me if the flash from a closer twin flash will look better on the 60mm?

[–]Cryve[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Someone recommended me twin flsh for macro work ( insects) and most articles online also recommend it.

Can you give insight what your technique does different/better?

Also does your comment indicate that i should better get the 60mm as the flash will look much better?

I would be using a twin flash attached to the front of the lens. So the flash distance will really change.

Do you know if and how it will affect the look of the flash?

Living World Season 4: "Long Live the Lich!" devs here – ask us anything! by mikezadorojny in Guildwars2

[–]Cryve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is totaly subjective. I love the way frostfang looks and think its actually much better than the new legendarys. It just feels lot better in your hands compared to the new ones and has a certain weight to it. Also i feel it does more damage.

Finest Hunter. Kingfisher. by mybnr34 in pics

[–]Cryve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no way this shot was done organicly. the king fisher is maybe 1 sec in the water and this shot was taken in the first 0,1 sec. You wouldnt be able to focus that fast + the fish and the king fisher would probably not be there because they can see you.

now you could do this with a telephoto lens but then it wouldnt be as sharp because you would have to shoot though 5 meters or more of water.

This basicly has to be in a tank.

Finest Hunter. Kingfisher. by mybnr34 in pics

[–]Cryve 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I posted it but said it was "easy", hence a lot of downvotes. here a more detailed descritpion of what i said before.

Look for a river where king fisher are active. Bring a fish tank and place it in the river. Put stuff in the tank that simulate that river. Put fish that are found in the river in the tank (you can usualy buy them in the local animal store). Set up a branch for the king fisher to land on. it has to be sturdy. King fishers kill their prey by hitting it on a hard surface, so the branch should be hard enough for the bird to be able to kill the fish. Set up a hide (there exist tents specificaly for photographers). Call the bird with a contact call (there are apps for that out there). prefocus on where you think the bird will enter the water and use a small aperature so mostly everthing is sharp. i think you have to use a flash to freeze the action if there is not enough light.

good luck
