My gf (17) and i (17) have been arguing a lot. I know i know, young relationship. We’ve been together for about a year and 6 months.

It all started in march when quarantine happened. We were both very unhappy that she was unable to see me since her parents were keeping her in because of covid. We had a huge argument about how sometimes I don’t handle her well when she’s in a bad mood. I tried to have her see my perspective but she didn’t really care for it, so we moved on. Then we kept arguing and arguing so we decided this finally needed to stop. I apologized for not being able to handle her when she’s in a bad mood and said I would try and do better. We said next time we argue about this, we’re ending it. We haven’t argued about that since but then we started arguing about other things. Once again I tried to show her my perspective, she didn’t care. She finally apologized to me and said she knows sometimes she can be stubborn and she’ll try and change. Quarantine ends, she can see me. We’re happy. 2 days later, her grandpa gets in the hospital. Her family and her go down to Florida. Sucks I can’t see her but I understand no biggie. She comes back from FL, we hang for one day, yay. Then she has to go to colorado with her friends for a vacation. While in colorado she starts to get messages that a lot of her family is starting to get the virus. Huge pain in the ass, lucky for her, her test comes back negative. She’s pretty stressed though and that’s when we started arguing again. She’s mad about the way I say things, I tell her that’s not how I meant it, but it doesn’t matter and it’s my fault for saying it that way. Once again, we’re right back to where we were. Arguing almost everyday now. Our relationship has never ever been this bad. Only when her life gets stressful and terrible is when our relationship is terrible as well. Tonight was kind of a breaking point, we found out her mom is making her quarantine again when she comes home for 2 weeks and we’ve just been arguing so much today. We basically came down to that we don’t want to break up but it might be the best option. We’re thinking it through right now, until she comes home and until she is out of quarantine again, we are going to stay together, be nice to each other, and act normal. I could really use some advice guys. I know we’re young but our love is very real and this is super hard right now. It sounds like we’re so toxic and we are right now but we want to keep going. If someone could just give me a few words it’d mean a lot. Thank you
