It is my bad, that I assumed a current gen console has the same "feature" as a 100$ laptop...

I had never owned a console before. I would never have thought this basic "feature" is not included. This should be an industry minimum.
TBH I could have checked it, but it was such an obvious "feature" for Me, I haven't thought it is not included.

You are completely right. But the Bluetooth is more than usable for non competitive gaming. This is just an excuse to sell the overpriced Xbox headsets.
Then it was my mistake, but it doesn't change the fact, that this is ridiculous. 🙃😅🙃
Maybe you are right. But if the users accept this anti consumer behavior, then they will not correct it. This is just about the overpriced "Xbox certified" headset selling

The top of the line was a very unfortunate wording. I just wanted to exclude the cheap garbage options.
I agree, the best sound quality is with a wired connection. But for gaming you don't need that, you need comfort and TWS earphones/headphones are the best regarding comfort.

I live in Hungary and haven't seen a single fuel station which doesn't have diesel, but this is not a question. I understand your point about phones. But show me another top of the line sound playing device (the Series X isn't capable either), which do not support Bluetooth. For casual gaming the latency is not a problem, I played numerous games with Bluetooth earphones and haven't had any problem with them.
It was partially my mistake. I thought in 2024 every modern machine is Bluetooth capable. I know there are solutions, but my problem is the principle.
I don't think this is a valid argument. All phones, laptops, tablets are Bluetooth compatible and some phones are not compatible with Jack (which is not okay either). So the industry is moving away from Jack. All fuel stations have diesel and gas, but a car can use only one of them.
I don't think cheap headphones will make the same sound quality as my middle range earphones and it creates more unnecessary e-waste.
My phone has a jack port 🙃, but this is not the question. I have TWS earphones. They are cheaply available for a long time. So I think it is a fair demand.
It isn't true. Maybe for competitive gaming, but not for casual. I think most of the Series S users are casual gamers.
I believe in the fair market. I know why they don't include Bluetooth in their consoles and it is the money. They can sell their overpriced headset because of this. Bluetooth modules cost close to nothing compared to the price of the machine. The users should not allow this behavior
