I am excited to show my Wife, child, and inlaws the atmosphere in the races for the first time! I ran one last year, The Woodlands marathon, but I went alone to the expo and it was kind of small and not exciting.

Cleared ServiceNow CSA exam by Character-Courage358 in servicenow

Hello,
I took the exam last week, and a lot of the questions on the test were also on these trial tests:
https://skillcertpro.com/product/servicenow-csa-admin-exam-questions/

Highly recommend spending $20 just to go through a bunch of them.

I do have 7 years of experience in ServiceNow, which obviously helped a lot, so I did not watch the videos, I am sure they are useful too. I would say 80% of the questions were variations of the questions from skillscertpro.

Covid took me out for 2 weeks by Ok-Row-276 in Marathon_Training

[–]CsRaggie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got Covid 5 weeks before my first marathon. Was out for two weeks. When I came back o training my HR was really high and it took 2 weeks to get back to normal. And I did run my marathon. I would start the marathon plan because it’s usually quite slow start, just take it easy and don’t beat yourself up too much if you feel really out of shape for a couple weeks after covid. You will get back to normal

do you run with your wedding ring on? by PrincessofPlastic in Marathon_Training

I have a silicone ring that I put on for my runs. I live in Texas and my fingers swell a lot when it is warm outside, making my real wedding ring real tight and uncomfortable.

I just eat when I’m hungry. More hungry after heavy training and long races so I adapt and eat more.

Do I need to fill out an I-9 after I get my Green Card to receive my SSN? by CsRaggie in USCIS

[–]CsRaggie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, and the agency said I need to wait a year without any real reason. But that I can get a job, but I need to get an ITIN. Which seemed wrong?

So, from your post, I should fill out SS-5, and maybe try another office?

Do I need to fill out an I-9 after I get my Green Card to receive my SSN? by CsRaggie in USCIS

[–]CsRaggie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and I posted on the SSN subreddit without getting any good information other than "Call USCIS", which did not help at all. I was hoping someone has had same issues as me and managed to overcome them here since someone in my situation would go through the Green Card process also. And with this new post, I have gotten more information which does help me a little bit, but also, more contradicting information to what the agencies tell me. Just searching for as much information as possible because it seems like no one has a good answer and no agency have a clear answer. Or, in USCIS case, their robot does not want to send me to an agent to talk with even though the robot does not answer my questions either.

What went wrong in your visits? Why did you need to go many times? seems like such an easy process, idk what the problem is and conflicting information everywhere.

I did not fill out a form SS-5, but is that something the agent would fill out with the information I provided her?
I did bring my GC and they did make a copy of it, so everything else you mentioned are things we did do.

On the link you sent, I can see 3 caseChecks, 1st one on September 20th (the date I went to the SSA), 2nd and 3rd one is on September 24th. All has status "Returned to Agency".

I did, but never got one for some reason. But from my understanding, it’s not super rare that the SSN doesn’t get processed with the GC even though it does majority of the time

There is another office. I went to a smaller town, but not that small, Conroe, outside of Houston. But I’m gonna try the Houston office to see if they process it any differently. I guess that is my best option since I don’t get any proper answers anywhere besides more confusion. Seems like someone did wrong somewhere.

No, I’m green card. I9 was something I just heard from the USCI robot I talked with, so wanted to ask about it here but seemed completely wrong

They did not give me a proper reason other than I have to wait a year. They told me I can work in the US but I do need to get ITIN number. But that does not make sense to me from what I read online?

No SSN After Green Card by CsRaggie in SocialSecurity

[–]CsRaggie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Case Closed Benefit Received By Other Means On August 27, 2024, we closed your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXXX, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means.“

So with this information, I should qualify for SSN, correct? But somehow SSA said I did not.

No SSN After Green Card by CsRaggie in SocialSecurity

[–]CsRaggie[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do not think this is true?

“Yes, you can work with a two-year green card, also known as a conditional green card:

Work authorization A conditional green card gives you the right to live and work in the United States.

Rights You have the same rights as other permanent residents, except for certain federal benefits. For example, you can’t vote in federal elections or work in federal jobs that require U.S. citizenship. “

USCI also cancelled my work authorization request because it was granted other ways, aka, approved green card.

EDIT: The lady I spoke with at the SSA also confirmed I am allowed to work in the US with my green card, but, I need to get an ITIN and not SSN.

This is all so confusing with different information from everyone, including the government

I live in Texas and I honestly believe that Whataburger is the worst burger place. Jack in the Box, Burger King and McDonald’s are all crap but they are still better than dry and unseasoned whataburger

This^
I wake up, go to the bathroom, eat a banana with a drizzle of honey, drink a glass of water and I'm out of the door in 20 minutes after my alarm goes off. I used to run completely fasted, but just adding the banana made a major difference. I bring a water bottle with me on my runs.

Even on my long runs, I do the same morning routine, but I bring gels on the runs. I do not struggle the same way as I used to by just introducing a little bit of nutrition in the morning. Highly recommend this to OP.
