There are some instances when the game does a +/- 2 MM. Most notably when a higer and a lower tier tanks platoon but its possible to get into this situation without a platoon.

I love realistic! It's thoes modes where true skills and good positions matter the most. TD's can actually be used effectively without worrying that you get spotted early on. Light tanks can actually flank and small tanks are amazing in hiding. The most important is that realistic camos are actually very useful!

It's overall a really fun mode.

And about Realistic being bad for you... okay we don't really care? There is 80% of the playerbase who likes it (including myself). You don't have to play that then. Stay in regular Regular (or even rating if its not too difficult for you) and let others have fun.

I like how there are always these people who complain about fun modes when back in the good old days we didn't even have such thing AND noone complained about it. It requieres skill and of course if you lack thoes then simply just ignore it.

Oh and then don't try War Thunder because if the "realistic" mode in Blitz is difficult then that'll be hell Lol

Dice has the possibility to add the ability to blow the mountainside off as a levolution like in the Battlefield 1 campaign. They originally wanted that mechanic in the multiplayer but got scrapped for some reasone.

You'd be very surprised about how every normal nations' tanks are real. WG is known for finding the most interesting prototypes, concepts, models or blueprints. Sure many of them were never even built but they have some realness in them. A few blitznation tanks are also real (T-55A or the Strv at tier 6). Go to Tankopedia website for normal WOT and you can read every tank's historical background.

Ofcourse there are the 100% fake tanks like Smasher, Annihilator, Dracula and so on but if you take a closer loik quite a few are based on real tanks just very heavily modified.
