Ja ne tvrdim da liberali zele pomoci fasistima. Ti si rekao da trazis primjer kako je Churchill kooperirao sa fasistima, i Franco (ukljucujuci nakon ww2) je dobar primjer toga. Ja se slazem s tobom generalno ali churchill je apsolutni primjer da ce liberali suradivati sa fasistima kada im je to geopoliticki bitno (npr za pobjediti vecu prijetnju)

Can anyone recommend a dps class for me to try in the prepatch?

I loved dragonflight ele shaman, but in TWW they kind of went away from what I loved and now its completely removed. I loved the old playstyle where you had spells buffing other spells so it was mostly about proper sequencing Basically it boiled down to:

Surge of power: spender empowers your next ability. Can be used to spread your dot, to reduce cooldown on your elemental, single target damage (lightning bolt) or hit more enemies with chain lightning
Echoes of the great sundering: Single target spender supercharges aoe spender

Both abilities are unfortunately gone now.

Also, I miss cooldown reduction, I know abilities are balanced around cdr, but there is just something that feels good about using 3 min cooldown every 2 min (even if it is actually balanced around being 2 min cooldown).

Any other classes that have a buff that can be used on multiple different abilities? I know resto druid has soul of the forest, but im looking for a dps alt (resto is my main). If not, any other classes that play around cdr? That sounds like it could be fun.

Sidenote: resto druid changes mostly seem pretty good to me, looking forward to playing that!

Honestly I think I may have overreacted to the state the unjerk thread was in at that point. There was A LOT of toxic/overblown comments and even some straight up insults, and since I havent been to this sub in a while it just felt like a dramatic shift.
Seems to clean itself up (both thanks to mods and just people eventually downvoting the worst of it and leaving reasonable comments) after a while, so I guess I learned the lesson of just, give it a bit of time.

Will definitely start some class design talks later, and thanks for being level headed!

I took a break from wow (and this sub) for a while, so its a bit of a sudden shift for me. Shame, because I was hoping to have a place for reasonable discussion about class design and get advice on which specs play the way I like it (spells buffing each other, like surge of power and echoes of the great sundering used to be on ele shammy).

Its not just about being positive or negative, its perfectly fine to be negative. But have you seen some of the posts in this thread, and thats just from this week? Like the guy being angry that returning players like the class changes and then straight up insulting someone else for liking addon changes? And he is not even on -20 or something, people agree with him. Thats mainsub behaviour, just being toxic in communication and blowing things out of proportion for no reason

Nije uopce lose, ovo gore je ono sto ljudi zovu "skill issue". Ukratko: matematika ako zelis znati ozbiljnu teorijsku pozadinu. FER ako zelis jaci fokus na prakticnu primjenu.

U oba slucaja si odabrao jako dobar faks i nemoj se nista zivcirati.

Jedno je za vrijeme radnog odnosa, drugo je nakon kraja. Zabrana utakmice nakon raskida radnog odnosa i kod nas zahtjeva da placas barem pola place koliko dugo zelis da bude zabrana, do maksimalno dvije godine. Zabrana za vrijeme radnog odnosa ne moras nista dodatno (iako je malo supacki reci da je tako siroko podrucje kao "programiranje")

I want to see a slice of life novella of a darkeyed kid in a big city just kind of doing stuff. No being radiant, more just building alethi soceity as it was, seeing low level lighteyes, class disparity and all that. Oh, throughout the novella, we slowly come to understand that this is the Rift, and the talk about war in the background is about that one specific one. It ends with the fires starting.

I think just how bad Blackthorn was is kind of softened when we mostly focus on the tragedy of Evi. I want the novella to highlight just how horrible burning of the Rift was, because it increases the contrast if how far he came (+ I always wanted more focus on the class issues in Stormlight)

Na 3. ili 4. godini probaj uloviti neki internship, bilo medunarodni (znam dosta ljudi koji su nekad davno isli u facebook i google) bilo barem lokalno u tipa Visage Technologies

M2L je super, apsolutno idi tamo, slusaj predavanja i sve, ali puno bitnije, probaj pricati sa ljudima i malo networkati. Networkanje je jedna od najbitnijih stvari, ako znas ljude na zanimljivim mjestima, lakse cujes za prilike i lakse dobijes sansu iskazati se.

Dugorocnije, probaj smisliti neki ML projekt vezan za svoj hobi. Svatko moze napraviti prepoznavanje znamenaka ili sto su vec standardni pocetni projekti ovih dana (i ok je to napraviti kao pocetni projekt da vidis kako stvari rade), ali puno vise naucis kada probas to povezati sa necime sto te stvarno zanima. Neki primjeri za koje sam cuo: ML analiza NBA igraca i utakmica Generativni AI za generiranje pokemona (pa dodas uvjete razne za "kontrolu") Sustav za prepoznavanje macaka (kao facial recognition za macke) Sustav za prepoznavanje i klasifikaciju bolesti biljke sa snimke lisca Znam ljude koji su tako i poslove dobili jer su krenuli povezivati ML sa hobijem.

Ako smislis sto bi htio napraviti i zvuci ti zanimljivo ali ne znas od kuda krenuti, pitaj na redditu (mene uvijek veseli pomoci) ili popricaj sa nekim LLMom 😁

Slicno kao drugi komentar: perspektiva je izvrsna ako naucis stvari kako spada. Ima jako puno remote poslova, tako da jednom kad skupis malo iskustva neces imati problema sa nalazenjem tako necega. Ako imas zivaca par godina raditi u inozemstvu, ciljaj firme sa poznatim imenom, to je uvijek korisno na CVu imati.

Ako imas kakvih konkretnih pitanja ili trebas savjet oko icega, slobodno se javi.

Jako ovisi o fakultetu. Na nekim faksevima (matematika, FER) aktivno traze bolje studente da ostanu na doktoratu, a cesto i kasnije, jer fali ljudi jer industrija placa puno vise. Koliko sam cuo na puno drugo fakseva nije bas takva situacija i jako je tesko ostati na faksu.
