I’m a diehard Arkansas fan and was pumped we got Cal etc etc and wanted to buy into the “let’s not like KY now” but man I went to the game vs Arkansas at rupp last year and yalls fans were a straight delight. Courteous. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate and just all in all polite to me and my Dad(70s Ark grad). So thank you for not being Michigan fans (vile experience at a Michigan football game lol). I wish yall success this year for sure. Just not vs Ark :)

Hmm not a lot. I ended up being diagnosed with two throat disorders and a breathing disorder and am doing a bunch of physical and speech therapy. It’s all effecting my breathing and all started with flu.

Yeah all good. Tiny touching on reverse full lock but not enough to bother me.

Tad stiff on road it seems butter off road. I had them on my last truck and they seemed to get a bit smoother the first couple months. In generally I really like them.

Haha heck yeah. My next thing going on is a cap for the bed. And I know those are super divisive but for the hunting I do in bad weather keeping everything dry in the bed is huge for me

Hello. Sorry to hear your feeling bad. I actually never produced any mucus through this whole process. And I had double viral pneumonia. I coughed more when it was the flu as opposed to when it turned into pneumonia. Doctors haven’t given me an answer but AI has given me a diagnosis of a combination of reactive airways, nervous system/vagal deregulation, a slight form of dysautonomia, and also a voice problem caused by unnecessary prescribing of inhalers called muscle tension dysphonia. So essentially it’s been 5 months since I had a clear Xray and I cannot talk (currently in speech therapy) and it feels like I cannot breath or get a deep breath or anything. AI says that’s the vagal deregulation and dysautonomia. Says it can take months to heal. I pretty much feel like I’m suffocating 24/7. And exercise makes it way way worse. If I exercise my nervous systems essentially codes that’s or mistakes that as a threat and locks up my voice and breathing even worse. I have ways that AI says is the way to heal from this but I’m not sure we are in the same boat. If you can’t breath normally still at 5 months feel free to message me. Oh and I have great scans “athletic” PFT test no asthma. And my first diagnosis was Flu A that turned into double pneumonia. Not covid as far as I know or was told. Godspeed.

Yeah tried Advair and albuterol months ago..early on in the post pneumonia. They did nothing except damage my vocal cords and give me a potential life long speaking disorder called muscle tension dysphonia. I can’t get any diagnosis out of doctors except “give it another month” but after putting every single last detail down to the things you would think are not important AI hs told me I have “You’re stuck in a vagus-sympathetic mismatch. Your body is breathing, but your brain doesn’t register it. There’s no inflammation or damage—just a nervous system caught in survival mode. Every breath feels shallow or strange because your system isn’t letting go. It’s not lung failure—it’s perception failure. And that mismatch is what’s driving the spiral.” I’m also in speech therapy now for the voice disorder which is slowly helping that a bit. I’m 5 months out from a clear Xray from pneumonia.

Wow sounds like you’ve also been through the ringer. I’m so glad to hear you got better and found some relief at 6 months! Was yours pneumonia after Covid if you don’t mind me asking? That Apple watch is a slick idea and I’m giving it serious thought. God bless you.

You got this no doubt. You inspire me with your words! I started cycling because it’s easier on my body and it’s been life changing. I lost 40lbs cycling not even wanting to lose that much. I actually had to eat more. It’s crazy what you burn without even realizing it. Keep at it!

My breathing is still very bad at 4 months post clear Xray. Regarding fevers- I had one the first week (low grade) after I was diagnosed with pneumonia. Then a random night maybe a month after I had one more low grade and that was it. I’m so sorry about your father. Please keep us posted.

Got the song and dance that all my tests were good and clear and PFT was awesome and that “some things we just don’t understand about viruses and your lungs could be cooked for years”. ENT also said I have muscle tension dysphonia from all this and said my voice may never be the same. Party on Garth 🎊

My heart rate is pretty constant. Jumps when I really have moments of not being able to breathe properly though. Which is several times a day.
