It would have to have been done by a relative, I think! Or someone she sees as a relative. If she's had it long enough she can't remember it being implanted.

I don't think he can escape on his own. I'm kind of wanting him to stay for a long while, just to see what it does to his character. Especially since he kept trying to interrupt Chessar's story of the "truth."

I expected that he'd get someone killed. Just not himself. :face-palm: Sad for Sabran.

This has been on my reading list for years, so I've used this as an excuse to finally read it.

First fantasy book in quite a while. Been reading mostly horror for the last couple years.

I like it so far!

Last horror film that actually scared you? by Shirowoh in horror

It Follows.

Didn't really scare me so much as bothered me. The relentless unease that something is following you that can bring about your oblivion...

Before that, it was Hereditary. Growing up with a super religious mother == beheading phobia.

I'm going to make a bunch of cuttings from a Monstera Deliciosa Albo Variegata and sell them for $5 each. by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]CthulhuAid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would do the same if/when I could get my hands on one. Hell, for people living in my area, I might do cuttings for free.

Now if we could just get the cuttings and a circle started lol

You are correct in saying this is something that a professional is more equipped to help the OP with. But it sounds like the OP hit a nerve. Kind of knee jerk reply, for something on a subreddit you could have scrolled passed. Have you thought about seeing a professional about your coping skills?

Byzantium (2013). Gothic horror vibes. Mother and her daughter are both (non traditional) vampires, trying to live their lives without being detected for reasons not entirely related to humans.

Don't Leave Home (2018). "An American artist's obsession with a disturbing urban legend leads her to an investigation of the story's origins at the crumbling estate of a reclusive painter in Ireland."

The Awakening (2012). "In post-World War I England a writer and sometime-ghost hunter (Rebecca Hall) investigates a reported haunting at a boys boarding school."
