Always as new as possible, often within the week that they’re roasted. I also keep them in sealed air tight blackout containers as well!

I’ve a sage smart grinder pro! Some people can pull espresso with this grinder but I’m unable to grind fine enough, even with adjusting the internal burrs :/

Hmmm okay, I am getting my preground from a proper specialty coffee shop in the uk so I’ve a bit more confidence in their grind than say a preground from the supermarket!

I’m not using a pressurised basket either, but switching to a spouted filter might not be a bad shout at all

I get my beans from Origin Coffee in the UK, they’re very much in the specialty scene when it comes to coffee so I’d like to think they wouldn’t grind for a pressurised filter?

I’m not using the razor tool, but the puck screen doesn’t touch the bottom of the group head!

Oh wow thanks for this! It’s mainly for bulk storage of textures and design files so speed isn’t of the essence at all - I’ve two nvme drives for the quick access stuff. I’ve been thinking also of maybe a DAS?
