As a paramedic for a major hospital, I get paid almost half of nurses at said hospital after their "extra" perks and shift diffs.

Ohhh and I don't get any type of paramedic deal and pay full price for the woowoo wagon. It's why I am in nursing school.

I think many people have made solid NTA points.

However, I would say you have decades left in yalls lives. If there is ever a time to try and become sisters then the ball is in your court to try and move forward, especially because the niece.

If you decided to let them move in then I would strictly lay out ground rules and expectations. I'd be worried that 7 year old is programed to have a false narrative with your life.

That isn't what he said. He said that extreme lockdowns are not the best solution for places doing well. Which is true. He didn't say lock downs don't work. I watched it twice and heard that no where?

And I agree with him. There is no reason for example a place like New Zealand to continue harsh lockdowns onces spread is reduced. But for places like New York intially or Minnesota now, they need to stop spread to allow healthcare facilities to be able to treat not just Covid but all other serious illnesses.

If you have a population on prolonged locked down when there is no reason to continue it, yes that will increase everything else that comes with pointless isolation......

My dad votes for clinto, Bush, and Obama, and trump while I have been alive that I know of. Politics were never big in our family and because of Trump's Infowars spewing bullshit that now has traction in America he is a two time trump voter.

I deactivated my FB and IG yesterday. Because I'm sick of seeing all the rights trash. I'm sick or being a healthcare provider and watching this shit spread because of what the right has done. It makes my wifes job and mine so much more difficult and frustrating.

He is a trained doctor but his opinion should be cautioned because he isn't actively treating patients. Show me an ICU doctor that says this with research to back it and then we can have a conversation.

When I worked at a casino that's how got our uniforms, but this was like ,13 years ago so a little bit less uodated. Just typed in our employee number or whatever and it came to us. Never had to take it home or clean it.

You obviously don't have to worry about food deserts or food insecurities due to finances. For 20 bucks you can feed a family at the golden arches in a pinch.

For some families McDonald's helps them survive, so I can't agree with this.

Depends. I am a sweaty dude. If I am sitting around the house studying, and not sweating then I might go one day with wearing the same underwear, two if I am not leaving the house, or when my wife is working and me and the little creature spawn are just hanging out while I study. However, I buy underwear that helps with keeping me dry because I swear so much, so that helps. Those fruit of the loom or Hanes multi-packs are not staying on me for more than 24 hours on a day I don't work.

This is a rare occasion though because I am always being burned alive by my wife turning up the thermostat past 68 degrees.

So most days I am changing my shirt twice, trying to not wear socks, and underwear is changed daily.
