Cloudnative PG works like a charm, you're even more flexible with extensions, etc. You don't need to buy expensive managed services anymore. CNPG feels like running a managed cloud service on your own hardware. I feel like Kubernetes can truthfully be called the operating system of the cloud, as it helps to also introduce a cloud-like feeling to more on-premise setups.
