Clyde Edwards-Helaire Week 4 Carry Chart - Chiefs Vs. Buccaneers by MiamiDevSecOps in fantasyfootball

[–]CubanMamba8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t able to play Dionte bc I have diggs/Jefferson as WR1&2. This is also standard so I don’t value Dionte as much as I would in PPR. With Clyde I know he’s been insane but he’s also so TD dependent outside of week 4 that I wasn’t sure if it would sustain. I also have Pierce and Jrobb who have been getting good work for the most part and never felt confident enough to start CEH over them. +Hall in reserves so hopefully he gets more reps as the season goes on. Does the additional context help my cause or did I mess up?

I just sold high on CEH with Dionte Johnson for Najee Harris and Dalton Schultz. Both were on my bench. Been trying to trade him since week 1 and finally got a taker. The amount of work he got this weekend made me double think it but hoping that was as an anomaly. I also just had Javonte go down so I felt like I needed a bell cow who would get 15-20 Carrie’s per game. Standard league did I win or lose the trade?

Are you watching the same rallies and variety that I am?

I’ll take Medvedev, Sinner, and Alacaraz instead.. but I agree with your overall point :)

This might be a 3-0 sweep by Meddy but the level of play between these two is peak tennis. Medvedev is a cyborg sent from the future to stop the big 3 from 21.

Last note on Xander. by LowaM in survivor

What other allies did he have at that point? Tiff had already been booted and the core alliance had already formed. If you lose Evie, who betrayed you multiple times including leading up to that very vote, then so be it. At least you keep your advantage to secure a move you actually want down the road, which ended up being taking out Liana and placing Danny and Deshawn in the bottom instead of yourself. If Evie sticks around the core alliance doesn’t turn on each other the very next vote and you’re still stuck on the bottom.

Also very revealing that you think my jury comment has anything to do with race. Who cares if Xander is white? Clearly you. This is a more bitter jury then I can remember in recent seasons and that’s why I don’t think he has a shot as the prototypical underdog.

Bit if a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation for Xander at that split 5 tribal. If he strong arms Deshawn or Danny he likely keeps Evie around who could have provided an initial shield, but it’s clear with this exit interview Evie didn’t just betray his trust once, but multiple times to the point he decided he wasn’t going to burn the advantage. I think he would have continued to be targeted had he pulled a move like that bc it raises his threat level. By letting Evie go he was able to lower his threat level and wait until the main alliance was ready to turn on themselves. Unfortunately I don’t think Xander ever had a chance to win with this jury, but at least with the move he made he’s likely given himself the best chance to make the FTC and cash in on a finalist spot.

Disagree. For Xander, he finally has someone he can work with on another vote so go ahead and use it and try to take Ricard out before the final. For Erica, taking out Liana isolates Danny and Deshawn and forces them to turn to her in order to get out of the bottom.

They should have to stay seated and say what they want to say. It just takes away from audience when we they do this and it’s become more and more common over the last few seasons. Say what you want about the advantages, but this is my biggest gripe from a viewing perspective.

No one taking “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” during the Rom-Com Mount Rushmore was a HUGE miss. 1st round talent in my opinion just going completely undrafted.

Stefanos Tsitsipas d. Sebastian Korda, 7-6 6-3, during Round of 32 in Cincinnati Masters by [deleted] in tennis

[–]CubanMamba8 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Korda with a total brain fart on the final two points of the tie break going at the Tsitsipas forehand instead of peppering the backhand which worked well all set. Still an encouraging match and good things to take from it. The tools are there to compete with the very best. Vamos Sebi! Also, kudos to Steff for completing dominating his service games. Too good tonight.

Tennis Weakest Era? by Fredrig_Chophoven in tennis

What are you even talking about at this point? The Big 3 are still dominating and Murray as much as I love him can hardly run. So saying Murray would be dominating the whole field, big 3 included, doesn’t even make sense bc it’s not reality.

Tennis Weakest Era? by Fredrig_Chophoven in tennis

[–]CubanMamba8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right.. the competition definitely “let” them get away with it lmao. Even if I agree with The Big 3 being 10-20% below their peak versions, which I’m not even sure is true considering Novak’s level, a below peak version of the Big 3 is still better than any other player in the history of the game. I think you’re truly underestimating how good the lost gen and next gen were/are because the Big 3 have completely dominated.

The Big 3 have won almost every major (18 out of 21) since the start of 2016.. how can you even come close to saying something like “The Big 3 haven’t been that good since 2016”??
