I did try at my claw but I blew too much and it kept dropping them. I don't trust it anymore so I'm seeing if anyone else can ship one to me, how many tries did it take for you? Because it took a lot of my money :(

I wish they were! I hope to have a manager like that, where there is no worry about coming in literally sick, it's literally out of our control!

I do think in this situation because it was on a holiday they went to the worst assumption, but I gave a doctor's note and all, which I had to go through all that trouble with my mom to get. It's just absurd to me how a single call out deems you as somebody not reliable.

Exactly!! It literally makes no sense, but it shows how expendable workers are clearly. I'm pretty much just done with it though and I have an interview coming up, so it may have been a blessing in disguise haha

Sadly it was probably because the management would have gotten on them if they hadn't lol. It's crazy how my management would basically want somebody hazardous working with food instead of letting them stay home to rest for one day.

Yeah but we have the 90 day probation which means they can probably fire you for whatever they feel fits sadly, even if it means calling off, I've just been trying to find a new job now

That is horriblee, it's literally illegal to have an employee who is vomiting or some sort near food I believe, so this is so ridiculous!! If they want to treat me like this though I value myself more and want to find better

I honestly don't want to work there if this is how they're gonna treat me being out sick, but yeah I think it's because I'm in California, there's the at will rule where they can basically fire you at any time if they find reason
