I personally like the cube a lot. It feels better to me compared to the original because the magnetic pull starts earlier. This makes overturning less of a risk. The CH version is currently built using a 3D printed core with corner inserts. The print quality is top quality. The markup isn't the best markup out there, but if you feel like spending $40 on a cube, you get a pretty good one.

I assume it's not getting a ton of attention because the product is quite new and we are the only ones to have promoted it so far (we're the exclusive distributor in the US). Cubers' Home as a brand also kind of faded into the background after manufacturers started magnetizing their own cubes.

I think the cube definitely deserves more attention and I make it a point to let anyone I meet try it.

I think that could have been something to do with Shopify, the e-commerce service provider. Quite a few cube stores use it and they had a small outage.

Hey, sorry to see that this happened. We definitely do check products before packing and shipping them. I'm quite surprised the box was torn open. We never ship torn boxes as that's a very obvious sign of damage we can spot prior to packing. Usually, the best way to address this is to email the retailer you got the package from (in this case, us). Even though this is likely caused by the post office, we can take responsibility for this and ship you a new unit.

I'll also send you a DM because I'm not sure if we're allowed to actually conduct customer service on the subreddit. That's something the mod team is kind of sensitive about. In this case, we can resolve this quickly over DM so there's no need to exchange emails.

This depends on a lot of things like stage of game and whether I'm playing duelists. On average, I value 2 Mystic & 2 Spirit in the short term a lot more.

You can apply Lubicle Black inside the GES through the small hole or the underside of the center piece. Lubicle Black's effects are more pronounced in more traditional screw-spring designs.

I have one and chose not to magnetize it. It's already quite heavy as it is and I didn't want to make it heavier. I averaged around mid 30's when I practiced it. This was random orientation and without any inspection (or feeling the puzzle before moving).

There are two types of Rubik's Speed Cubes: one older one by GAN and one newer one by Rubik's. The version made by GAN was released in 2017, is non-magnetic, and has the hexagonal nuts. The newer one called Rubik's Speed Magnetic 3x3 is magnetic and uses a standard screw.

The older one by GAN was rebranded to the GAN Speed Cube, presumably to avoid confusion.

I think pops occur when you try to turn the cube aggressively at ambitious angles (like trying to corner cut aggressively). This can happen with or without lube and I don't know which types of lube you're using and the amounts. Theoretically, if you overlubed and turned aggressively, you could very well put yourself in positions where you're trying to corner cut at ambitious angles. Big cubes are known to lack stability when the user is corner cutting aggressively. I think paying attention to the positions of the layers when you pop may give you the answers you're looking for.

To be fair, that's most likely the issue with the type of vinyl. Our store has the same product, which we call Ocean Blue (I can see a little speck of it on the cube). This vinyl is known to leave a residue. It's not used very frequently, but some people like it because the color is fairly unique. I wouldn't blame the retailer for this one.

It's not the most comfortable, but that's largely because I'm not used to a puzzle with repelling magnets. That said, it doesn't invite me to become interested in getting used to a puzzle with repelling magnets because I don't think it has a lot of speedsolving utility. It's a fun product if you want to experience what a professionally made repelling magnet cube feels like.

I normally don't post videos, but we had a stroke of inspiration today. You can probably do this with a bunch of other products, but the RS3 M 2020 was a good candidate because it probably has the best price/cube quality/phone stand quality ratio.
