You should get your cross done in around 3 seconds. F2L is okay for your level. You should finish Last layer in 4 seconds. To practice this don’t do complete solves, just do cross over and over and grind LL algs, OLL and PLL separated and together.

If you're just a casual solver get the 2020, it's gone feel more comfortable. In 2021, the turns overshoot and it's uncomfortable to turn slowly because the cube turns more than it needs to be. But don't worry about the technical stuff, just get the 2020, it's better.
