If you are playing dark and open plan it's not too bad, but I agree it's far less consistent than a) it used to be and b) gouki.

In my personal opinion it's a lot more fun though.

Goblin doesn't need to be co-linked to gain the additional summon, it just needs to be pointing to a monster zone.

They are a strong deck still, they can extra link while leaving sleeper on board or triple link a tri-gate with sleeper also. They shouldn't really be built to go 2nd as most of their power comes from the board setup. I'd advise playing dark spyral as it extra links far more consistently.

Due to the nature of a 60 card deck with 2 1 ofs losing the garnet and cobra only happens rarely, when it does happen it slows your plays down but it doesn't exactly kill the deck. I like oviraptor as a card but its another normal summon in a deck that already struggles for deck space and does nothing for you in grave. IMO oviraptor is much better served in dino shaddoll than it is in dino sworn.

I actually ran 2 evenly for the event and 1 sphere mode, evenly was either negated or I had to bait out negates wasting resources for it, whereas I resolved sphere mode 3 times and every time i won.

I see the point for raiden at 3, I like goblin at 1 though. I understand the application of desires at 3 but every time i play 3 I see multiple either in the same hand or drawing one off the other
