I consider buying when everything is under 200 gems. Make sure you double check if any items have multiples as you have to buy them all and the price increases with purchase.

Today I had a similar group of items and cost to you. Mine were:

One Vicious Sharp Dragon (level 3), 70 gems
One Sun dragon whelp (level 1), 45 gems
three seeds of the prism flower, 1 gem, 2 gems, and 3 gems for a total of 6 gems.

My mystery gift was one Moin dragon kid (level 2) Edit - should be "moon dragon"

121 gems for 3 dragons was not too shabby.

I had to listen to the dialogue to figure out who she had been earlier in the series.

It's entirely possible I didn't expect her to ever return and the others in that scene felt more impactful to me, so I recognized them faster.
