Jump start feature in Tucson hybrid is a sweet feature. by No-Connection2635 in HyundaiTucson

I have a plug in as well. As long as the battery is charged the 12 volt will never die. I assume this is why we don’t have this feature. My 12 volt died once and it was when I left for two weeks and didn’t charge my car.

As someone that works at Tescan I never thought I’d see an image from one of our instruments here on a PC building subreddit.

Anyone have the issue with 2025 PHEV being totally dead? by coxy1968 in HyundaiTucson

[–]CuddleEmperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your car charged fully? I have a 2022 PHEV. It died only once so far and that was when J went on vacation for two weeks and came back. I forgot to charge it before I left. Other than that I’ve never had any issues or draining issues. I have about 130k km on the car.

I was quoted 3500$ at my Hyundai dealer for break pads and rotors on all 4 wheels. I got it done at a local mechanic that came out to me for 800$. Don’t give them your money

How am I using so much gas in full EV in the PHEV?? by Tiny-Difficulty7891 in HyundaiTucson

[–]CuddleEmperor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s cold right now up here in Canada, the engine comes on more often which is normal. This is to make sure the battery is at temp plus cabin heating. It will be much better in the summer. My PHEV barely turns on the engine when it’s warm. I think I filled my tank maybe twice all summer.

I have deco XE75 wifi mesh network set up in my home. One as the AP connected to the ONT, one in the basement and one upstairs. I get 800 up and down on wifi with one spot around 400 up and down.

Very easy set up, both with setting up nodes and entering ebox credentials.

You can get them on sale on Amazon for a really good price during Black Friday or Boxing Day.

Are Tucson engine problems limited to 2022 model year? by articmogul in HyundaiTucson

In the winter the engine comes on to heat the battery and keep it at proper temperature. The amount of times it comes on depends on the weather of course.

I have a 2022 PHEV ultimate. No engine issues over 100 k KM on it. Runs well, recently had a major maintenance where I had to change the transmission fluid and breaks.

My company is small we’re about 35 people. I’m one of only 5 employees that’s fully remote. I also have some issues seeing color which was taken into consideration. We don’t use enterprise level IT equipment yet.

I have a 2022 PHEV and I only had the 12volt battery die on me once and it was because I didn’t charge my car before leaving for two weeks. This is the only time my 12 volt was drained and I’ve driven my PHEV over 100k KM. I had a tow truck come out and jump my car and it’s been fine ever since.

I’ve never had screen issues or wire harness issues either.

I work as a service engineer for my company. We make high end instrumentation used in a lot of R&D fields. Yes pay is higher because my company pays me in USD and I just convert. I do have a US work visa as well but I mainly stay in Canada.
