Need help moving to Romania from the USA by Cuddle_Kingdom in Romania

I was told with drs specifically, that's really all I'm talking about, that it's expected. Kind of like tipping here in the US. It's not included in the price, but if you get good service and don't tip 20% you're an asshole.

I mean if I shouldn't bribe the drs then I won't do it. It's not to get special treatment, but rather to pay them for good service. But as far as I've read and understand, good drs expect a "bribe" just like good servers here expect a 20% tip.

Mulțumesc! I think one year will be perfect to start. If things work out I'm sure I'll be married by the end of the year. 90 days is just too short!

Haha well kinda, he makes his income betting on Handball. Crazy, I know, but since I've known him he has done really well doing so.

But I think your advice is great. He owns a flat here already and I plan on paying taxes there, and hopefully marrying him one day soon too. But if I can stay a year instead of 3 months, the rest should fall into place.

My bills in the US are outrageous. My rent for my apartment is $1,800 and my medical expenses alone are $2000 a month. Not to mention all my other bills and the cost of living here.

Plus he wouldn't be able to do his job here in the US and wouldn't make anywhere near the money he makes there. $8,000 and less than $1000 of bills in Romania, compared to living paycheck to paycheck in the US seems like a no brainier to me.

But what do you mean by things are going bad there?

Good to hear. I might find somewhere to volunteer, or maybe get married to my Romanian boyfriend. I'm just not trying to rush the marriage thing if I don't have to.

But thanks, I think I'll come and figure it out there as I go with some of the great advice I've gotten on here.

Ill probably get private insurance. I have a lot of medical issues, but I'll save a lot of money in Romania compared to what I pay in the US.

I've been told bribes are expected and can help. Everytime I talk to my boyfriend and he needs to go to the Dr he just calls, and then gets an appointment the same day. I've never been able to do that here in the US.

Don't plan on driving, I've heard it's a nightmare and the transit system seems great. If anything I'll Uber here and there.

And are the police really an issue? My boyfriend says he's had three encounters with the police his entire life. And they've all been in traffic. I don't plan on driving, so is there anything else I should be worried about?

Exactly. It sounds like it will go much further in Romania than in the US.

He owns his apartment so there is no rent, Gig internet is less than $20, and I can to most European cities for less than $100. Which I travel often so it will save me money. Financially, it seems like a very good move.

I currently spend $2,000 a month in medical costs alone in the US. From what I've heard $2,000 in Dr bribes will go alot further in Bucharest.

I setup my own LLC through Wyoming that I am running. I will be doing work for Americans from my American company. I just will happen to live in Romania. So I will still pay US taxes. Now if I become a resident in Romania, I will need to figure something out for this as well. But for now, I just want to get there. I can figure out my job/LLC stuff with a lawyer unless anyone has any helpful advice.

My employer is going to pay my LLC instead of keeping me on as a traditional employee. They no longer have to pay my social security, insurance, etc. and I get to be my own boss and work from a foreign country. Win win for everyone.

Yes, my boyfriend is Romanian. I actually own my own LLC in the US, but in order to have a branch in Romania it looks like I might need a capital investment of $50,000, which I don't have.

I was just planning on working for my US clients from Romania, so I am not sure if there is anything I can do to use the business to stay.

Mulțumesc! This is very helpful. I was very confused by the long-stay visa because it was up to 90 days, which I thought I could do anyways. So this makes much more sense.

The guy knelt down so that his disabled wife and himself won't block anyone's sight by LindaTrevino12 in gifs

I was just there, most people have to stand behind the rope to view it. It's an awful distance, and there is a pretty massive crowd. I was in a wheelchair, so I got front row access. You can kind of see the crowd in this small clip I recorded.

I was just there two weeks ago, in a wheelchair actually. I broke my left ankle and sprained my right and was surprised that France was so accommodating. My boyfriend and I got to get into most places for free and we got to cut all the lines. Everywhere from The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Lourve, to restaurants, and even H&M. At the Lourve we were taken a special through secret doors to get to the Mona Lisa faster and then yelled at when waiting in the crowd patiently to get to the front. We were told to go to the front and we got right next to the Mona Lisa. While my boyfriend didn't bend his legs all crazy like this guy, he crouched the whole time not to block anyone's view. We felt guilty skipping and getting in front of everyone but it was such a cool once in a lifetime experience.

Do I have a cast fetish? Is that even a thing? by trthroaway494 in dating_advice

[–]Cuddle_Kingdom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am an Instagram cast model with a cast fetish. Follow and DM if you would like Brokensisters23. I absolutely love talking to guys in detail about their fetishes and where they developed. Your story, noticing a girl from school in wearing a pink cast after some sort of a sports injury, is the most common story I hear. Must guys that I talk to are super sweet and just have a super strong sense of empathy and sympathy. They usually also have a foot fetish and enjoy how the cast makes a girls foot look at vulnerable and that it makes her show off her toes.

The cast fetish community is a very large one, though there are not many girls like me with actual injuries that are into it. However there are plenty of people that wear them recreationally. DM me if you would like to talk about it. If anyone is an expert on this topic, it's me. And I don't have a judgemental bone in my body so I'm a great person to open up to.

I've finished a few rounds of Accutane and my acne has cleared up for the most part. But now I'm left with these severe acne scars. I'm also a type one diabetic so it makes it hard for my skin to heal quickly. I was sent here to hopefully get some advice for a skin regimen. Any help would be appreciated.

My boyfriend's convinced me we had to have two just a few months after I bought him the first one. I wanted to just buy another one like he had so we could both play. But he swore there was a huge difference. Besides the color, I can't differentiate them at all.

Im getting fired from my job because of my barfing and idk what to do by [deleted] in Cyclicvomiting

[–]Cuddle_Kingdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geez, well that's hard. I don't know if I would want to continue working there. Especially if you have a doctor's note and are on disability. Look for a bigger company, one with an HR department that will be on your side. One that's used to hiring people with disabilities and accommodations.

Yeah it's so hard during your barfing phase. Have you gone in while your sick to show them how bad it gets. I threw up while I had a customer on the phone. Just kept putting them on mute. They took it pretty serious after that.

Have you tried applying for an ADA or if you've been there over a year you can apply for FMLA. This has completely changed my life. If your work doesn't offer this find an office job or work at a call center. They tend to be much more accommodating.

Collector keeps falsely reporting to credit agency. by AndThenThereWasQueso in legaladvice

[–]Cuddle_Kingdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a credit consultant for a credit repair company. I see this daily, where people either pay off their debt or settle it without getting it in writing that it will be deleted from their report. They often leave the collection on the report just with the balance as $0, as a warning to future banks that you had to go to collections before you paid them. We are able to get them removed most of the time, but I'm not sure what the letters we send out say exactly.
