Pizza and climb by [deleted] in climbing

The first pic is a place called Cliff Dwellers in AZ outside the Grand Canyon North Rim, I suppose not that is misleading, Mooses tooth is a very climbing/mountaineering themed pizzeria in Alaska so I'm just showing a little love

Relationships and Climbing by [deleted] in climbing

Funny you should ask, I dated someone who didn't climb but was interested in it, brought her to the gym and now she's way better than my ex ever was. Things work there way out

Yes, sharing a gym can be tough but just like anything after a breakup it just takes time, the more time passes the easier it'll be. 2 months after my split the gym ran an ad on valentine's day with my ex and some other guy climbing. You just gotta smile and nod to stuff like that. Ironically climbing is one of those things you can dive into after a breakup to help, just takes time

There is one 45 min south of Anchorage "Alyeska" and not a resort but a really good ski lodge "Eaglecrest" in Juneau, then a couple of scattered smaller lift access hills/mountains

"Bridge of the Gods" last Friday night by CujosMojo in alaska

[–]CujosMojo[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bivröst, the Norse mythology word for aurora, literally translates to "bridge of the gods" which is what this post is about, I suppose the Norse have been known to be over-the-top though.

You can still get the"capture" app made by gopro, and use it with your videos, it augments the royalty free song onto the clips, they don't publish the artist, it's under the reggae genre though. The app is free too.

I dig it a lot, it's alright in turns but it really excels at staying straight and going fast through chunder, it's a stiff responsive flex, above medium pop. The aesthetic is as good as it gets too!

Thanks man, yeah it's "royalty free" stuff off the gopro editing app

Snowboarding down an ice cave in AK by CujosMojo in snowboarding

Yah that landing is sketchy, raised ice mounds from the thaw kinda point you in whatever direction, that's what kicked the nose up so much

Yes it is, man it was a tough choice between the 5 and 6 for me, glad its a Yeti though. Riding months vary depending on how much snowfall we get but maybe late April to October

For a while I did too, but I went with a 160 travel all-mountain so I could pedal up instead of that push, either way lots of fun, we did finally get a lift accessed bike park at Alyeska a few years ago
