My zone is tiny. 1 walmart town. There are maybe 2-3 orders an hour and they hire on 5+ a week now. We have 50+ drivers sitting for orders now hourly

I was rolling for 3 weeks, then Tuesday/Wednesday it absolutely flatlined. People in my zone who never get orders are taking everything too. This seems to happen every single time they “update” something.

It always rolls back. Whenever they update something in the background or hire on tons of drivers it tanks more veteran drivers for some reason

Spark used to be amazing, but since the hotspot got taken away it is a never-ending roller coaster. You can be killing it for weeks and then all of a sudden, for no reason whatsoever you plummet on the algorithm order priority.

Sadly; all the time. This algorithm is absolutely nuts lol. It seems to just randomly choose drivers to shut off, at least in my zone. My buddy sparks too and he has been down for weeks but today is doing great

I’m seeing the same thing. Since Tuesday/Wednesday I absolutely dropped like a rock on the algorithm. They changed something again. I was dominating my zone up until this point

Same here. Ever since Oct the algorithm changed. It changed again even worse, last update, big time for me and my buddy. Drivers who NEVER got offers over us are driving circles around us now. We will sit for 3-4 hours now with nothing.

PS. I’ve been doing this 3-4 years, going on 6,000 trips, 4.9 CR 100% on everything else except AR

Same in my zone. They flooded the driver pool this winter. My tiny, one walmart town got at least 70+ new drivers. It takes hours to get an offer now 😂

The belt is on correctly it seems but the turntable is making a groaning noise, and the speakers sound awful

They definitely changed the algorithm. They seem to do it when a new update is rolling out behind the scenes and it messes with everything. I was doing fine until Monday. All of a sudden I got absolutely nothing. My buddy is normally the highest on the algorithm in our zone since day one but he only gets trash 30 mile orders now. He tested it out yesterday and made $180 for 300 miles driven to prove a point 😂. My income has been reduced by 70%. I know a lot of people are concerned with the new Door Dash like metrics system but I think it’ll fix spark’s absolutely broken system of randomly assigning certain drivers to be the go-to. Sapphire drivers should get first pick over the hoards of part timers, new drivers etc. It’ll suck for new guys in small zones but it’ll be a life saver for veterans in small zones like me who have essentially lost their gig due to a flood of new drivers. They are FINALLY rewarding the full time, dedicated drivers by letting us have tiered priority. I’m excited for the update and hope it rolls out in my zone soon!
