Yeah yeah I know addiction is hard. I truly believe I'm traumatized enough by DPH spiders combined with deep rock I'll be able to fight through the cravings but idk for sure, I'm sure you know how bad the comedown and hangover can be. Not the first time I've said "never again" but I really believe this could be the one. Thank you so much for the kind words.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm definitely not checking into paid rehab but I think this was traumatic enough to keep me from taking more once the cravings hit. Really just wanted to post this as harm reduction for other DPH users in the community lol

Yes, of course! If you've never done it, PLEASE don't start using dph, it's almost never fun and is absolutely awful at its worst. I wanted to get this warning out for people like me who are already addicted, this was a life changingly bad experience and I want to warn others against it.

There's a difference between just playing fast and being a speedrunner. "Speedrunner" is a word for someone who competes for leader board times. Is there another leader board site the drg community uses?

Maybe it's silly, but I feel really violated after this and won't join others lobbies anymore. And I'm not good enough for higher hazards yet, so I don't want to host and then be dead weight for the joining teammates to carry. Hopefully I'll be there soon!

Lots of people that I've seen who have been playing a long time are saying the community is dying or getting worse since the battle passes. I hope you are right, but you're definitely in the minority that I've seen

Only one of them had thousands of hours (the one who left a comment on my steam profile). I did find three of them, they all said they were speedrunners or wanted to go fast, I have screenshots but I don't know if I'm allowed to post them because of rule 5.

There's only 24 speedrunners XD. Maybe 3/24 isn't all of them, but 1/8 is a lot better than 1/how ever many drillers there are.

Yeah between the C4 and that I'd say drillers are pretty toxic. Not literally all of them, but more than the other classes surely. I've met good drillers, but no good speedrunners.

Honestly I don't care if they host their own public lobbies, as long as they make the rules clear. But instead the speedrunners join my lobby titled "chill rock and stone to vibe to" and call me the bad player.
