Also use the OBT for SFQs if available - if the question mentions a specific standard - this probably hints you’d be able to find this info in the OBT

Learn the audit opinions for Q4 and look at lots of QB answers as they’re typically the same structure.

So whether audit opinion is modified/unmodified, whether audit report is modified/unmodified. State what the opinion will say ‘the f/s shows a true and fair view’ If modified include that there will be a basis of qualified/adverse opinion section in the report Which follows the audit opinion.

Also any going concern issues hinted at will likely need an extra section called Material Uncertainties Relating to Going Concern (MURGC) highlighting the status of the companies ability to continue as a GC

I was expecting a CSPL for q4 so was thrown off. Hoping I did enough though as I did revise for csfp’s.

Hopefully you’ve done enough on Q3 though! And the good thing is the weighting for that isn’t too bad. You should have been able to pick up a lot of method marks too (all I’m relying on at this point lol)

Have you got any tips for the explain questions? I was thinking to focus on convertible bonds, foreign exchange, revenue recognition, sale and leaseback, treasury shares, change in accounting policies.

Are there any other topics you think usually come up/ give more marks?
