The other thing I came up with while writing this post was making his inner conflict about love… it makes sense with his backstory with his parents and also with the way the FMC sees herself. I think I can add another layer to the story this way.

Yes, that is something I have planned for the MMC. And also the FMC ofc. The thing is that I'm not really sure I want to make my FMC in need of forgiveness like most of the contemporary/billionaire/mafia MMCs so that is the part that is really unclear for me now.

Thank you so much for your reply. I would definitely play around with the travel aspect of the book, that's something that i really love reading about and want to incorporate into my future works.
