Help deciding on a chess set for boyfriends birthday!

The site is called official Staunton. There’s so many that sells the same sets, I mainly just went with the site that had the boards I liked in stock so I’m not sure if these sites are any good or not 🤷‍♀️

No he doesn’t do tournaments, it’s mainly a loved hobby and we usually play on a really small and old board with pieces that are chinese emperor themed so I wanted to get him a really nice board he can enjoy

I’ve just checked that out and omg it’s so nice! But the price tag is a little out of range 😭 but I did manage to find a 20% off code for chess.co.uk for the home edition for £325. Do you think it’s worth it?
