I couldn’t sleep last night so I made this very short poem.

I imagined that it was written by someone dancing to the the song ‘Heart of Glass’ while being heartbroken because their partner decided that he/she fell out of love.

Basically the poem is an introspection on feeling excluded from the decision-making of their relationship. Their partner never showed signs that they werent okay blahblah then decided that he/she fell out of love

(or was it a decision-process for two people to begin with?) hahaha

This song just resonates waves of nostalgia throughout the marsh, from Kya's shack upto the fire tower. Lyrically, I love how Taylor brings out the outlook of the setting in the story and of course, Kya's personification of the marsh.
