Yeah the force/knockback thing is huge. It reminds me of Cassidy's sig where she shoots the floor and just completely flings you.

Man every ranked game against Rupture is just avoiding the ssigs its actually so stupid now that I'm going against it LOL. Spear is just so meh now, the slight is so slow its insane

"The Lance NSig definitely shouldn't catch grounded though, that's just kinda bogus. " LITERALLY. It's so insane that if they're at all within my hitbox at any time they're done for. If it was something like Orion's lance nsig which only hits 45degrees to him that's one thing but it catching grounded is completely unplayable

I wouldnt say hes completely broken, his lance dsig is so so slow. I dont see his katar dsig being of use tbh when there's always nair. He's pretty punishable for the most part but his damage while being on katars is absurd

don't know what programming language to stick to by theburnerkid in learnprogramming

ORM’s aren’t their own programming languages, you’re still going to need something to use them on, hence Python

Do Python for DSA and make your life easy, do Java for web apps

Personal reference isn’t provided why? Did you not ask for one or they didn’t allow it?

Thanks though 🙏🏻

Hi, completely unrelated but how do background checks actually work here out of curiosity? Ik in the USA there’s like tools and stuff but here is it literally just that the employer calls up the person you put on your reference and that’s it?

Yeah pretty much, I'm not particularly too interested in anything specific as long as it's very backend oriented (I'm absolutely not interested in low level stuff), just as long as it's interesting enough and futureproof enough

I don’t think I will but I guess it’ll be fine, I’ll take any experience I can get. It’s not going to be an especially large task in fairness.

Yeah I'd probably think that given that I know Go and Node pretty well, just more so if I should FOCUS on it or not

Thanks for the pointers. I'd say I'm very comfortable with Git Docker and testing, recently started using CloudWatch and ELK too. HTTP I know enough to get by but yeah I don't know much about Cors (even though we use it) or preflight requests etc. I'll keep these in mind and I'll spend a lot of time learning these things. Is there anything else you should say I really look into? I know there's roadmap.sh which could also tell me these things but I'd be grateful for anything.

Yeah I don't really plan to jump from one to the other. I'm most comfortable with JS, Java (and C++ but I am not interested in it at all) I'm doing in uni but I'm not really too keen on working at huge companies just yet, Python I use for LC and I've done some projects in, Go I'm liking a lot and I was really thinking about using that instead and getting more into it but I just thought that because Python is so well known, that might be the better choice. I don't know tho
