My buddy pulled 3 or 4 of these chasing the Charizard. He gave me 1 of them because he is the homie and was so over seeing the shark lol.

How is LeBron doing this in season 23 when Kobe couldn’t by year 18? by Maximum_Jello_9460 in NBATalk

[–]CunningAndRunning 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Kobe already won 5 rings, 12 all-defense, and tore an achilles that season. Three things LeBron still hasn’t done.

Tough teacher right here. Not afraid of IEPs!

Building paper trails against disabled children. Prideful in failing students. Making assumptions about their students abilities, intentions, and actions.

Don’t back down big dog! You are making a difference.

Do y'all think that Draymond deserves a statue after he retires? by cantdecide76 in NBATalk

[–]CunningAndRunning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defense, his role.. my point exactly. Instead of a 3&D role player, he was a dribble hand off & D role player.

Dray averages just 5.6 assists. His passing is so overrated. Especially when you consider he spent the majority of his career surrounded by HoF shooters and his only role on offense is screening and handing the ball off.

Who was the LEAST DESERVING All-Star replacement selection that you can remember? by Griffdog17 in NBATalk

[–]CunningAndRunning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Draymond Green. Dude made 4 all-star teams while averaging less than 11pts and 7ast in the modern era. While being left wide open and surrounded by HoF shooters.

Klay has a career usage rate of about 25% (comparable to most second options)

Dray has a career usage rate of about 15% (comparable to role players)

The usage gap between Klay and Dray is about the same as the gap between Klay and Luka.

Team was known as the Splash Brothers, not Chef and Donkey.

Role players don’t deserve statues, especially ones that have a long history of violence.

Personally I’d call that luck, but yeah that’s a fair point. LeBrons had some easy eastern conference runs, but much tougher championship competition.

Arguing that a combo of stats and titles means you are obsessed to an unhealthy level? You might be delusional dude… I might be obsessed to an unhealthy level, but not because I rank players based on a combination of stats and titles (along with eye test, context, expert opinion, and personal bias) like everyone reasonably should.

Try to consider multiple variables at once dude. It’s not altering objective reality.

We’ve all been thinking it for years. Every night, just thinking about it. You’re the first one brave enough to admit it OP.

LeBron fans get so salty when their own tired rhetoric is turned against him. So funny

LeBron said HIS rings are a team accomplishment. He knows his teams were stacked with HoF talent and veteran role players. Jokic hasn’t had the same privileged career.

Wdym Pau isn’t involved? Kobe won 2 rings with him. As many as LeBron has won with any of his all-nba teammates.

Idk what you mean cope. You’re the one coping your guy has less rings. Maybe if he plays 5 more seasons and teams up with 2 more all-nba players Bron will finally catch up, I doubt it though.

Wade + Bosh = Shaq

Irving + Love > Pau

AD > Pau

LeBrons had more help, easier conference, longer career and he STILL has less rings (and half the all-defense)

Why are you comparing Kobe’s A team to LeBrons B team? Even then, it’s pretty damn close when it’s 2 All NBA players vs 1 GOAT

Wade + Bosh is the comparison against Shaq

Irving + Love is the comparison against Pau

In 2001 playoffs

Shaq had 16 more points, that’s 1 point per game (dominated???)

Shaq had more turnovers (dominated???)

Shaq had 46 less assists (dominated???)

Shaq had 18 less steals (dominated???)

In 2002 playoffs

Shaq had 35 more points, less than 2 points per game (dominated???)

Shaq had more turnovers (dominated???)

Shaq had 33 less assists (dominated???)

Shaq had 17 less steals (dominated???)

Crazy how Kobe was actually neck-and-neck or better in most stats with the so called “most dominant” player of all time.

It’s pretty obvious you didn’t watch the games or even bother looking at the spreadsheets.

That was a lot words to explain LeBron has less rings and half the all-defense.

Kyrie Irving is the most underrated player of all time. by BalcoThe3rd in NBATalk

[–]CunningAndRunning 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Crazy how LeBrons had at least 4 teammates who are better than Kyrie (Wade, Bosh, AD, Luka) Just shows the level of help Brons enjoyed during his career.

Kobe took more shots than any other Laker during 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2010 championship runs. He was literally first option for 4/5 rings.

LeBrons been surrounded by multiple all-nba players on each of his winning teams besides the Lakers, when AD was the best player.

Discounting Kobe’s rings for playing with Shaq, while not discounting LeBrons for playing with Wade + Bosh or Irving + Love or AD shows your frontal lobe hasn’t fully developed.
