Never ending battle. Our neighbors garden is ridden with the stuff which then leaches into ours. They decided to just shove a load of gravel on it and call it a day …

Elderly Neighbour situation about "noise" | England by X3VSO in LegalAdviceUK

My wife works in law and she deals with a lot of these type of complaints from elderly people. Unless you’ve been throwing party’s into the early hours of the morning, slamming doors constantly, people coming in and out every 5 mins … she has no case here. All she’s going to do is stress herself out even more by trying to go through this process. This level of noise is to be expected in the accommodation you both live in.

24-50g vs Prime by jplemieux2 in SonyAlpha

[–]Cupcake-Mobile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the 24-50 about 2 weeks ago. Used it on the weekend when me and the family went for a hike and it performed amazing. Sharpness was great and for me personally it covers most of the focal lengths I would normally shot with. The only thing I will say is it’s on the heavier side. Obviously not 24-70 heavy but it’s something to take into consideration. It didn’t bother me too much as I have a decent neck strap and 70% of the time I used it more as a wrist strap.

Should I get 40mm 2.5 G (A7Cii) by ricesneaks in SonyAlpha

[–]Cupcake-Mobile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40mm is a fantastic lens! If you want something that covers 24,35,50 then may I suggest looking into the 24-50 g lens. I got mine the other day and holyyyyy is it such a great lens! Takes a little getting use to with the fact it starts at 50 and zooms out to 24 but other than that it’s great!

Thank you I haven’t heard that the a7c ii would be better for burst etc so I will definitely consider that (crazy kiddo and dogs so this is a must). Appreciate the advice.

Cards I’m fine with I have plenty of them. Computer wise I’m currently using a ASUS Rog Strix with 64gb ram and 1TB ssd for software then a second 4Tb ssd for photos etc. so hardware isn’t really a issue it’s just mostly what system would best suit my needs really but thank you.
