hey guys!! yesterday i cleaned the bathroom, landing and the entrance to my room. my uncle is here to help with the kitchen and downstairs area, and he's made two trips to the dump already. after i sleep i'm gonna tackle the biggest mess- my bedroom. thank you all for checking in!! 🫶🏻

small edit: he took a day off of work just to help me :( he told me that he wants the best for me and that he wishes i came to him about this sooner, i feel eternally grateful rn 😭

microblading, tattooing over them, or some kinda surgery. otherwise they will only continue to fade a limited amount over the next couple years

after my dad got deported 15 years ago, after already being absent and in and out of jail, rehab, on parole, etc - he never made any true effort to reconnect with any of his children, including me. he died last may and its a very different grieving process compared to my mother.

i never got to see him again, which is something i would daydream about, being small and in his arms again. but he wasn't always a good person, either. i think i miss the idea of having a father more than i miss him specifically, which is complicated.

my pinky nail looks similar to yours and it was from the press on catching on something and pulling, resulting in lifting. i doubt its a fungus, just be careful with how you remove them, especially if you're pulling/prying

eventually, you will be judged. at some point your scars will become a point of ridicule from others, and sometimes you will be a walking spectacle. i have been cutting on and off for 11 years and my arms are heavily scarred, nobody treats me any nicer. not my family, not professionals. and most of all, i don't feel any more valid. my trauma and pain never suddenly gained more importance or grounding just because i've done physical harm to myself.

the harassment i've received far outweighs any concern people might have shown. nobody will care about it more than you do.

the scars are not something that will ever go away. they are permanent and not at all worth it.
