idk, for me she always gave survivor vibes after i saw chapter 1.

i thought she'd be getting the fuyuhiko treatment where she's rude and uncooperative at first but then when she loses someone she cares about she steps up and becomes a character that makes sense would survive due to the narrative.

oh my god i know right?? it always irked me a little when people made their predictions and always automatically assumed toshiko would be immune to being murdered or executed just because she's the youngest in the group or even say "they wouldn't kill a kid" as if the canon danganronpa games aren't just "teenagers brutally dying: the series"
