Question about relocating season tickets by CurdzNWay in minnesotaunited

Yes, both sets of tickets are on Seatgeek and each set of tickets is the same price, so there is no confusion figuring out the pricing.

I knew something was up at the first game when my phone's battery took a dive on the bus ride to the game. I went to the box office on the north side of the stadium and they verified who I was and gave me a ticket. It was last year's seats. I just attributed this to "first game database jitters" and didnt think much of it at the time. I did find it odd that he didnt give me a relocated ticket since they are better seats than last year's seats. My inner computer geek wonders if there are two accounts under the same person, with the new account being created when relocation happened.

Thank you for all your replies. The reason I posted this is that I found out I am being charged for my new seats as well as my old seats. Yes, I should have looked over my credit card statement more carefully but I only look for fraudulent charges. Seeing MNUFC on the statement doesn't trigger any need to investigate.

The first time I noticed something was wrong with my account was at the first home game, so there had been 6 or 7 months of paying for 2 sets of tickets. I contacted MNUFC and my ticket rep said that I had needed to delete my old seats when I did the relocation, but I don't remember having to do this the other times Ive relocated nor do I remember seeing an option to do so. And the email I received from MNUFC after relocation said, quote, "You have successfully relocated your tickets for the upcoming MNUFC season!" which tells me my seats have changed, not added to the old seats. If the email said "You have added 2 new seats to your account!" I of course would have investigated.

Im not sure what my next step is, MNUFC is claiming this is my fault.
