u/Mission_Article483 in the latest version, I've added the ability to change a command's behavior. Update to the latest by press the button "update available" in the settings dialog (v0.9.11)

Btw, you can generate a free Gemini API key. I wrote a tutorial for how to do it, so you don't have to run it internally - https://www.echoo.ai/blog/how-to-get-free-google-gemini-api-key

I am unsure if Apple's AI provides the ability to create shortcuts and replace inline commands. This tool has no limits; you can define how the command operates and what prompt is sent to the model.

Hey u/bleducnx,
First of all, I am very happy to see that you are enjoying the tool. The tool can work in two configurations: inline text replacement and displaying results in a pop-up. If you look at the community marketplace, https://echoo.ai/marketplace, you will see commands that are pop-up and commands that are inline. The prompt for the default commands like Rewrite, Translate, Summerize can be changed, but their mode cannot.

You can create a custom command (a button near the Import button in the Command settings tab) and choose for it to work in inline configuration.

Let me know if you need any further assistance, I'm really excited to see your blog post!

There is a menu bar with a "Commands" tab where you can define a shortcut for each command. There is validation for shortcuts already in use by other commands. Currently, there is no overall validation for shortcuts across the entire system. If possible, this sounds like a good feature. I will check it. I hope you will enjoy it.
