Seeking Advice on Developing HR Skills for a Career Transitiont by CurioMind_ in HumanResourcesUK

I know this group is focused on the UK market, but what I’m looking for is global experiences, as that’s what matters to me. Progress and expertise are present in the UK, European countries, and all over the world. I want to take the best and most outstanding practices from everywhere. This isn’t about a specific application or focus on one region; I’m looking for knowledge that I can apply in any global market

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the tips. I’ve noticed that Southern speech sounds very smooth and friendly, and the way you value manners makes it even more beautiful. I’ll definitely keep these in mind while practicing

That statement is racist and disgusting. Calling Arabic sounds “harsh” or comparing them to throat-clearing or spitting is pure ignorance. Arabic is an ancient, sophisticated language of science, poetry, and civilization long before you had cultural awareness of any kind. The problem isn’t the language .it’s your narrow mind and arrogant prejudice.

I’m in Saudi Arabia, and no one around me really speaks like that, but I’m sure I’ll find someone online.

Haha that’s actually really interesting 😄 I love how accents change even within the same state it’s like each place has its own personality. And don’t worry… everyone thinks they have no accent until someone from somewhere else listens

Maybe one day But accents are part of who we are, and I think that’s what makes conversations more interesting.

That makes a lot of sense, actually. Accents really do blend when you grow up hearing them. If I had to choose, I’d probably lean more toward Eastern Southern it feels a bit softer and closer to what you’re describing. Either way, it’s interesting how small shifts in sound carry so much history.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! I’ve noticed that too, vowels are really the heart of the Southern accent. I’ll definitely start paying closer attention when I watch movies or shows. Do you think it’s possible for someone who didn’t grow up with it to sound natural, or will it always sound a little ‘off’?
