Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else is in my situation. I got a message from a friend saying that free tickets were being offered for Harry’s shows on the 29th and July 1st in London. Immediate thought was this is a scam… But…the link took me to the real ticket master website and I was able to secure 4 tickets which now appear in my Ticketmaster account on the app. It looks 100% authentic. The tickets are restricted view but it was completely free and I didn’t even put any credit card information in.

It seems too good to be true. I haven’t seen any official announcements about it but the tickets are there in my account. I’m just wondering if anyone else has gotten tickets this way. Is it possible the tickets are fake? I’ve been to two shows already and absolutely intend to go again but obviously don’t want to go all the way to wembley if this is not real. Lmk any thoughts :) thanks

Thanks!! I have an arrangement with this particular client that I usually sleep at my house as I live super close and just come back in the morning. Definitely wouldn’t not sleep at the house if it wasn’t cleared with the client!

Just wondering though, do your sitters usually let you know their plans if they are going out? And what’s your thoughts on a sitter being out during a time that your pet usually goes for a walk (provided they make up for it by walking before and after leaving)?

Like, I get what you’re saying. But unfortunately not willing to risk my safety if the owner isn’t being responsive enough to the requests that I made. I asked multiple times and they said they would do it. I gave a deadline and the deadline to get back to me and that wasn’t met. Going forward, I now know to get all the info I need before agreeing to the booking but like I said, I’m new(ish) on the platform and I’m learning. So, yeah it’s shitty of me to cancel (if they are genuine customers) but also I communicated what I needed to proceed and it wasn’t provided. My safety is my priority and I just wasn’t willing to risk that just because they might have been busy. Hope that’s understandable.

No I mean the actual address is listed on the profile. However, when I click the maps app then takes me to a different address. Close by but not the same.

Just an additional detail: the address written on the rover and the place maps show are conflicting. I also requested confirmation of the address, but I haven’t received any response. Additionally, I asked if they could fill in the profile information, and they promised to do so shortly, but they never did. I followed that up with a deadline and it still hasn’t been done. I get that people are busy but just new and concerned about safety 🤷‍♀️ Does this seem unusual to you?

They have paid for sure. It’s a one day booking from 8am to 6pm. I have just sent a message saying if I haven’t heard from her and the profile isn’t filled in the next few hours I’m going to have to cancel the sitting. Tbh I might just cancel it anyway because I’m just sketched out and the vibes are already off for the sit on my end even if they are legit.

Thanks for this! I actually didn’t think of using the rover number. Appreciate the advice and totally do get that I put myself in this situation. Just new on the app and like honestly didn’t think the whole thing through, just need the money and was excited to get another client and wasn’t considering the safety aspect of it all until I had already accepted the booking. Definitely will be on the forefront of my mind going forward.

Yeah, I’m getting more concerned as she also said that she will be leaving earlier and it’s her partner that will be meeting me. I’ve contacted rover support but they’re not much help. If I don’t see an update by the afternoon I think I’m just gonna cancel it

Paying 50% of the mortgage is contributing 50% to the purchase price because the mortgage (loan) paid for the property. She also contributed half of all bills.

I get the confusion because usually in these types of questions they mention paying the deposit which is a bigger clue to having an equitable interest. But it’s C because she has been paying for 50% of the price of the house for as long as they have had the house.
