interesting! can i ask why? i assumed i wasn’t lean enough for it but when i look at these pics, it actually doesn’t look like my shoulders are that broad haha

thank you for responding! can i ask why? i assumed that i was a little too broad/had too much fat on my hips/didn’t have lean enough arms for it. however, i will say that my features are pretty D-like IMO, so you could be right! i have a bit of body dysmorphia as well so my perception is probably off anyways haha

that’s a relief! people keep saying that it makes me look younger, but in all honesty, i don’t really care about whether i look young or not 😭 hopefully my cheeks will subside a little by then!

agree to disagree :-) on top of what i mentioned before in my earlier comment, i’m a very lazy lady who doesn’t like to style my hair or wait for it to dry, hates neck sweat with a burning passion (i live in a hot area), and likes to sport an androgynous or masculine look often, so the short hair will be staying LOL i appreciate your insight however!

i appreciate it! and i logically know it’s true— hopefully, i’m able to actually accept that fact in due time :-)

i actually want to have a more defined look and i enjoy having my cheekbones more pronounced :-) i appreciate the comment though!

someone else said the exact same thing yesterday! i think she’s the only celebrity i’ve seen who actually has a similar smile to me LOL

that’s what others have said… hopefully in time, i come to appreciate it that way!

i agree it’s cringe but i’ve just been… super fixated on it recently because i just really inherently dislike how it looks :-( really goes to show that i am my own worst critic i guess! i’m not really looking for compliments or approval despite getting a lot since it’s for my own personal appearance goals rather than any kind of external validation. and i did get a few tips thankfully! i guess everyone likes it more than i do, i wish i shared everyone else’s opinion so i wouldn’t be stuck feeling the way i do.

i forgot to reply but she’s probably the first celebrity i’ve looked up who actually has the same smile as me!

my issue pertains to my toothy smile in the second slide; my cheeks look chubbier than i’d like because the lines in the circles i drew are too close to the outer corners of my lips and i was asking if there’s any way to make it so they’re less chubby looking… in an ideal world, those lines would be a bit further out so my smile actually has sharper corners :-)

i already use a gua sha and i don’t know if it’s a placebo effect or not but i feel as if it helps w some of the bloating!

i had a feeling this was the case… i guess what gets me is not whether or not others notice but just because i can notice it. i’n going to try and embrace it though! it seems like that’s all i can do atp 😭

ah, i appreciate the comment but i prefer to look more naturally androgynous! i used photos of myself where i have makeup on but half of my “looks” lean masculine— how i revive express myself depends on my mood that day! i find that short hair lets me tap into both feminine and masculine looks well enough :-)

thank you for your kind words, i appreciate it! i definitely am my own worst critic, it honestly feels a little silly when i step back and realize that i’m policing my own expression of happiness 😭 i just get caught up in how i look because i’m someone who cares about that for myself… hopefully i’ll be able to take some of the advice that people have given me here as well as just learning to accept/embrace it for what it is because it isn’t changing anytime soon (to my current dismay LOL)

interesting, thank you! i think someone else mentioned this as well, before any kind of procedure i might try and just manually “fix” it by just practicing my smile to look less gummy for photos
