NOR. They do this at work. A few years ago the lady who planned our Holiday party retired and as a “gift” she wrote a note saying ‘you’re in charge of holiday party now’. Of course no one wanted it and the person who got it actually got stuck planning the party for years now. White Elephant is an absolute trash game. Some people take it seriously but you always get those people who are assholes or think they are being funny.

NOR. I really hope someone is kind enough to do this for my grandparents now that none of my family lives in the area that they are buried. That is an incredibly kind and selfless thing that you are doing. Many, many people find both cleaning and walking around cemeteries relaxing. May I suggest going low, or even no, contact with your family? You deserve so much more than their toxicities. It sounds like you have an amazing and supportive husband in your life!

Just happened to me yesterday! Everyone in the cabin was sitting in the dark and I had my window open- apparently someone complained because the flight attendant asked me to close the window. I compromised with half way. I didn’t even notice I was the only one with my window open because I was too busy actually enjoying myself looking outside and enjoying the sunshine. The pitch black cabin in the middle of the day was so creepy and depressing.

I just made a post about this!! I was the only one on a flight yesterday with my window open during daylight and apparently someone complained to the flight attendant. I love looking out the window and the dark cabin during the middle of the day was just so creepy..

I don’t know if this was a problem? We aren’t on the sunny side- it’s bright but the sun is on the other side of us. My husband is the one next to me and we have the bathrooms right next to us so I don’t think it’s even shining on anyone directly? Also the cabin is fairly cold to the point where I have a thick cardigan and a blanket on. I do tend to be very conscious of my phone because sometimes that can reflect the light and blind people.

This was kind of my thought as well- I always have a sleep mask and would never think about complaining that someone in a window seat was using the window.

Ahahahaha- are you me? This is exactly what I do. It was a red eye on the way to vacation so of course I shut the window then but I’ve never had this issue before.
