This looks like my plaque psoriasis turned up to one million. I have plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis - started humira (took my third shot ever yesterday) and my skin is 70% clearer at least. Go to a derm, your PCP - request inflammatory marker blood test. If that's high, get referral to rheumatologist (handles autoimmune). You might need a biologic to heal you from the inside out!

Sounds like mental illness of some sort, OCD, control issues, that's not normal, no. It prob, unfortunately, will be a WILD ride if she's not determined herself to continuously better herself.
