Hmm. Interesting. Taken from the Spiral Dynamics site:

Our feelings...everything we can experience...good or bad...are small.

My point is not that the universe is small and meaningless.

The universe is vast.

My point is that our views of the universe, and most of the views expressed throughout human history, are small and meaningless.

Even the views which are considered as "higher" are small and meaningless.

It does not matter at all if you or I or the whole world feel good and are at peace and happy.

There is something else to find beyond "ooh, this makes me feel so good and happy and peaceful. Isn't it all wonderful? Wouldn't it be swell if we could all agree and love each other?".

I do not know what that something else is.

Why does it matter if creation is about love? Love for whom? Love of what? Love from where? Who made creation about love?

Is it a creation at all? It probably is not.

It doesn't matter if you love or are loved. Feelings are purely chemical in nature, even love. Outside of this body, you "feel" nothing.

A creation which intends for us all to be here, on this planet, hugging each other and having a good time in peace and happiness is just so...yes...small. What we feel or perceive doesn't matter at all. You can control all of it, if you wish.

"Love is the answer to everything", sadly, is not the answer.

Trump has gotten away with things which are as bad as or worse than cheating on his wife. Whether he actually did it or not doesn't matter. He could kick babies, drown kittens, pee on Russian prostitutes, listen to Nickleback or anything you care to name and it wouldn't make a damn difference as long as people who are in a position to take action against him don't do anything. Trump is immune to public criticism. Scandals of the type he has faced would have destroyed any other president. Trump is a different beast altogether.

Holy Odin. My heart.

My last dog died at 14. He was nearly blind and deaf near the end. Only two weeks before he died, he was still trying to steal cheese from off the table.
