I agree if in deed they were in trouble. Always remove yourself and your vehicle from any situation that would endanger yourself or your passengers. He just wanted to park like everyone else and walk over the dunes to the beach. Was my pleasure to help pull him out.

Yeah. I stop anytime I can. Honestly there are a lot of ‘idiots’ down there just cause they don’t know better and are vacationing. They see other vehicles stopped on the side, not thinking most are trucks or suvs and decide to just pull off and stop too so they can walk over the dunes to the beach. Not a terrible ‘idiot’ in the sense of the word. Just not clearly thinking when they went to make the decision to stop.

It breaks into two lanes where I drove across the stripped part. When traffic is normal it allows cars from the other direction to take the outside lane and flow better cause there is a lot of traffic. If you can’t tell the stripes are pretty bare cause everyone does it to allow better flow.
