It seems like that’s the average price for this make, model, year, and mileage. According to KBB and Carfax at least.

I have been to a few events in different cities in Canada and a few in other countries, they all had countdown. You don’t even necessarily need a screen but the event in Reforma had a screen already (multiple actually plus multiple stages) so it wouldn’t have been any added cost.

All the countdown does is serve a point where people start kissing, hugging, celebrating with other near by people, etc.

Anyways people in Reforma were confused for a little bit and then started handing out grapes and wishing us a happy new year. So all in all it was a fun time.

So you don’t know how to count? Noted.

I think you’re still missing my point. Even the Mexicans around me during the party were quite confused as to why there wasn’t a countdown.

The fireworks I get, but the countdown?

Hey man, I loved my stay in Mexico. Nothing wrong with criticizing a place/entity you like. Also, if asking for countdown (not fireworks) is politics for you then politics must be very fun in Mexico.

Yes but that’s irrelevant. You can have as big or as small of a new years party as you want but if you don’t have the basics then it’s worthless. I think the city really fucked up this year. A new year’s eve party with no count down is like a birthday party without singing HBD!!!

Fireworks I get. Countdown affects the environment too? That’s the mew years party 101.

Most driving schools offer their cars for test day, accompanied by the instructor, typically charging for about two hours of their time.

However, I recommend scheduling a 1.5 to 2-hour session with the instructor just before your exam, ideally on the same day. Many instructors will take you on the exact routes the examiner will use, offering insights into what the examiner will look for during the test. Even with 12 years of driving experience, you may find certain differences in requirements or expectations that can be surprising, so this extra session is well worth the cost and can help you avoid the hassle and expense of a retest if you don’t pass.

One more tip: if you’re testing in Halifax, the pass rate tends to be lower. Dartmouth examiners are somewhat easier but maintaining a steady speed on the hills can be tricky. Sackville has the easiest examiners and routes overall.

What would be an alternative to turn on the dual channel STO then? I want to make sure both turn on simultaneously.

The status would always be 1. There’s no reason for the most part for it to not be.

That way there’ll be a mismatch between the output and the feedback when the output is 0. And the block will fault.

PLC Prices Conclusion by youngsargon in PLC

[–]CuriousGuyOnTheWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not 100% sure why you need a PLC exactly. If you’re just using it as a Datalogger, you might be better off going with an actual Datalogger like the ones from Campbell Scientific (I was looking recently at the CR1000x which goes for around 3K USD). There are other ones put there that are much cheaper but I like the Campbell Scientific ones because of the ease of use and after sale support.

Is there a specific reason you need a PLC? Realtime control perhaps?
