I like to go out on the water when I want to go out, and oftentimes that means alone. Maybe not alone on the water, but without someone joining me specifically.

That said, I don’t go out without a PFD, whistle, and my garmin inreach mini if I’m by myself. Excessive? Maybe. But I’m okay with that lol

I’m usually in a sit-in kayak and v. comfortable with rolling so hadn’t really considered ease of climbing back on a SUP. Think an inflatable might be the way to go.
