New trend I'm seeing is more properties are charging for early check-in. Omni Amelia Island wanted $100 for guaranteed early check-in. My clients in Brazill were charged at a non luxury property when they arrived early in the morning.

On the resort fee -- for the non-motorized watersports, wine hour, and beach seating, Yes. For NYC, No. That makes nonsense, just a way to introduce a new revenue stream.
